You can always use the "Download PMs as XML/CVS/Text" function and empty your PMs!

I propose all PM's are deleted every six months and if people don't back them up they lose them.

I'd have to agree with Psychotic that increasing storage would be a slap to those who paid money for it. Then again, SE does it all the time, releasing $50 of recent FFXI expansions for the low low price of 19.99. *grumble*

Maybe we'll deny this request now, and then secretly increase it later when no one's looking.

As for Mognet, a formal proposal has not yet been made in the Staff Forum. Without it there is no way for us to debate the issue incessantly for days with no real reslove, then letting it fade away only for some admin to randomly go ahead and make the change anyway after a few weeks.

1024 is such a random number. It would be cool if there was a save option on PM's that gives you the option to store the messages on your own computer with a click of "save file" like on windows live messenger. In regards to what Christmas proposed, I'd have to agree with what other people agree with.
