Spoilers in previews.

Whenever the spoiler tag is used in the original post of a thread, the spoiler is still seen when someone previews a thread from the index. I usually solve this problem by putting it in a quote block, but that looks messy sometimes.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

Even the snip tags show content on previews, don't think there's anything that can be done with it. I'm not an admin though, so I can't say for sure!

Only the first paragraph is previewed, so this could always be solved by waiting to spoil until the second paragraph. Also, I don't mind editing any opening posts that display spoilers in the preview so just slip me a note if anyone stumbles across this. I'm sure the other staff won't mind either, well, most of them anyway

Ah right yeah, looks like it contracts spaces too. Uh, don't read previews from shows/games you're afraid to get spoiled!

This will lead to deliberately misleading thread titles.

Just use quote blocks instead. It might look messy but it solves the problem. And it prevents the afore mentioned crisis too.
