#17 Didn't we all agree on this in the Ciddies thread? xD |

| Former Staff | I think the thing to do is provide a link to the perspective forums for each FF through the front site's menu. That way, when someone is browsing the front site, they would see a link to the forum of said game and could immediately go there. This would save time and cut the middleman of having to go through the forums to get there! However, this would mean extra work for the site staff, but dammit, this would give them something to do for a change! |

That was last month. You need to get everyone to agree when a CK/Admin has the time to move all the threads and an Admin feels like actually merging the forums. ![]() If the study hall is moved anywhere the best spot is definitely the help forum. The artists Gallery could be a subforum of the Art forum, and Crystal Chronicles into general FF would be a good amount to start with. |

| Administrator | For what it's worth, I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek with some of those suggestions I made. Not all of them, though. Basically: There is no way I agree that the mainline FF games should have their forums merged. However, there are a lot of forums that are fairly inactive that are not for numbered Final Fantasy games and I think we could do something about them. Rest assured, a discussion is now in place within the staff forum to see which we feel we should merge. |

| Administrator | First thing to do is get rid of VGM. The Lounge, Gen Gaming, individual FF forums, all of them can handle its function. Christ, it was a wasteland even in 2004. I remember we used to spam in there because nobody gave a ![]() ![]() ![]() . I don't know why it has been kept around so long.FFXIV forum should not be removed under any circumstances. It's important to try to gain users who are trying to look up info on it. |
