Since when have asterisks been called 'bleeps'?

I'm confused. Is using **** for any word against the rules? Is that what we're saying? This shouldn't be that hard to understand but this whole back and forth has just blown my head apart.

since i was just thinking of a word i could call it. because saying astrik out a word sound funny

Using **** is going around the filter that is in place for said words. So, yes, that is going around the rule.

Using **** is going around the filter that is in place for said words. So, yes, that is going around the rule.

i like to **** is against the rules then being you have no idea what those astriks mean

I meant using *** to replace the remaining letters when you leave the first letter of the word in. **** by itself does not mean much.
