[I'm my own MILF]

I sort of felt that they weren't so hot this year. Not in terms of who won what (Though desperate lack of love for ^OmegaShot^ itbt) but just a sort of malaise of the spirit. It was more like "Okay let's get this over with" half the time. I understand that BoB was tired and stuff, but it also seemed to apply to the posts in general and quite a few speeches. Not that I am not saying they were of poor quality, but more of the sort of attitude underlying things.

I think we should make the Ciddies a yearly event. Make them something that's really looked forward to again. And it would also help with many of the awards: People would have to maintain goodness (Or oustpokenness!) over a longer period of time, but would also have more leeway if they have to take a break from the 'Tubes for a bit. And it would be a big boon to the more slow-moving forums, like Writer's and Artist's.

My feedback about the Ciddies is that JohnDonovan was robbed, and BoB will not be allowed to get away with his crimes.

But seriously, it wouldn't hurt to make it an annual event rather than biannual.

Opinions which I will be the first of many to agree with. Especially the writer's/artist's forums. Also spacing out ciddies time will give more time to prepare and make stuff really good.

The board has been slow and boring lately in general. It could use more variety, because General Chat is all it has going for it, really.

I was less than enthusiastic this time around because it felt so much like the Winter 2009 Ciddies. Not to mention, I was gone all day due to family issues.

I agree with MILF about making the Ciddies a yearly event. Maybe we can make it 75 awards to make up for it? Maybe I'll even make custom Ciddie sprites for each one for a little twist.

Before certain unforuntate, repeated, extended downtimes happened I really rather felt the place was getting back on track.

Edit: Good catch there Momiji =O Bigger Ciddies to make up for their less common occurance.

Edit2: Just to clarify, not calling anyone out on behaviour or attitude or anything here. God knows I'm the first person who's had a bad attitude about the Ciddies before. I don't think there is a 'fault' in this situation, I think it's just a situation, but one with a potential solution.
