A while ago the forum started saying I had one notification unchecked, which was untrue. So I told clout and we joked around for a bit--you know clout!

So he told me to click it from the drop down so I did and it didn't work but I wasn't too worried. I was patient . . .

So today it decided to bump up to TWO Notifications. Now that right there crossed the line man.

Man . . . it's like . . . man . . . I don't even know anymore . . .

Someone help me fix this. I'll sacrifice myself for the greater good. I'm desperate here--HELP PLEASE.

I'd be more worried about the "Ivalice Cocaine and Sex Show" or whatever it is that is sure to desensitize us all.

I've never had any trouble getting rid of them. I always just click on them (e.g. "342 Marriage Proposals") and view the notifications. Afterwards the notifications box goes away entirely.

I think I know where these are coming from. I think it's when someone deletes a message they left me before I viewed it. It happened in my conversation with I Don't Need A Name.

So I've found the problem but no solution . . .

I've never had any trouble getting rid of them. I always just click on them (e.g. "342 Marriage Proposals") and view the notifications. Afterwards the notifications box goes away entirely.

So I'm guessing you have the information box set to Forum Front Page. Let me see if turning it off and back on helps any.

I still have one, also. But mine hasn't multiplied. And CL_OUT won't fix it!

Do visitor messages get soft deleted or hard deleted?

If soft, then ask a mod to undelete the deleted notes to see if that's the problem.
