Just as I started to get a decent amount of Usernotes...

Public Messages are everything usernotes are, but are also far more functional. vBulletin admitted that it originally intended for usernotes to be used by staff only (hence they never considered putting warn buttons onto them etc).

People have always complained that they don't go straight to the latest usernote. With public messages, you can. People have complained that they can't warn usernotes. With public messages, you can. People have complained that they can't delete other people's usernotes on their profile. I'm not sure if public messages can do this! Hopefully they can.

Basically, you can cry "omg myspace" all you like, but loading a MySpace page for me can often take forever and the general coding is terrible. At the very least, say "omg facebook". Because if anything, usernotes are the myspace to public message's facebook. They're basically the same thing, only far more user-friendly and generally better in every way.

I wouldn't care if people wanted them to only be accessable by clicking a link, though. If that's the 'big deal' of it all.

I don't care about usernotes, all I care about is the new profiles are horrible. All this tabbing bullshiet and all these stupid new additions that no one cares about. The old ones were one page with all the necessary information you need there on one simple page with the option of usernotes if you cba and it was glorious that way. The new stuff is basically just a bit .

Usernotes didn't get deleted when FG upgraded, so I don't see why it should happen here. Aaron's notoriously lazy, so it can't be that hard to turn usernotes into those profile page note things.

I mean, I know some forums that have spam forums, but that doesn't mean we have to do it here. I also know some forums that require a moderator to approve any post that you make, but that doesn't mean we have to do it here.
