#1  vb3.7 I was wondering about some things in this new version. 1. This Public Messaging. Is this going to replace the User Notes? 2. Are you guys going to mod the User Albums or have an alert button? Perhaps even both? Are you guys going to move the pictures from The Album to User Albums or just keep the old one up? (You should let me mod the albums. I have too much free time anyway. It'll keep me busy.) ^^; 3. The Member Customization Profile Page. Can you block certain features in it or is it going to be all or nothing kind of thing? 4. Are you guys going to get it? If so any ideas when the update is gonna be? and I don't like Tags in a forum. They just look tacky and seem a little useless to me. |

 | I personally see no reason for the change. The few things it does that we might make use of would be easy to impliment anyway. The whole "myspacing" of the user profiles is a bit unnecissary overkill. And I hate the idea of tagging topics. IMDB and YouTube use tags. And its a total mess trying to find things based on tags. Its one of those interesting ideas that doesn't really work. All it does is tarnish the experience. And I think it'd be a shame to lose usernotes. I think it'd be a shame to lose the look and feel of EoFF in general. vb3.7 has a robust professional and advanced look and feel to it that we really don't need. We have a very nice well-rounded and robust amatuer look and feel. Simpler and more user-friendly. Just some thoughts.. |

| Site Staff Cid's Knight  | what is so special about usernotes? you guys are always complaining about them being featureless. 'OMG IT"S SO HARD TO COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE"S USERNOTES FROM MY OWN" "OMG PEOPLE ARE POSTING PORN IN MY USERNOTES" etc etc etc It's not like we couldn't archive them somehow. you would be able to edit your profile from your profile page also  that is worthy, imo |
