I got the idea from the tv.com forums.

There you could make a blog in your profile.. people can leave comments and stuff.. like usernotes.

I always had a lot of fun with that and there people could make a lot of topics that are not suited for the forum(in the eyes of the mods)

like goofy stuff..

I dunno how hard it is to program though, but its been done so many times im sure you can just get a standard code somewhere.

I think that it is possible in the current version of vBulletin through use of a plug-in, too, but it may not be as detailed or as heavy as the feature in the updated version.

vBulletin. That's the name of this style of forum.

Anyway, why do we need blogs in the forums? I mean, there IS an online journal link in everyone's profile that is rather underused. I have a link to my LiveJournal in my signature as well. I don't see why such a thing would be necessary.
