Unable to save image

I can't change my profile picture or avatar for some reason. Whenever I try (whether I upload the picture or link it) it just says "Unable to save image." Why is this?

I was just going to make this thread myself. I'm receiving the same error as well. I also tried uploading my old avatar to my webspace and then providing the url for it and I received the error message "Invalid URL".

I think this happened before. . . someone see what http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/ is chmodded to while I research a previous encounter!
