#17 Yeah, seriously. Weird that you'd even call it a good idea to begin with if you believed that flaw to be true. It'd be a pretty horrible idea if it was. I think lots of good candidates signed up for this competition. That said, I think it was an excellent idea. As someone said, it was a much needed breath of life into the community, as well as it might've opened some staff eyes regarding good staff candidates out there. |

| | I'm sure I wouldn't have even been considered if not for the contest. :P Yeah, that's kind of my school of thought, too. I didn't want to actually win the immunity challenges because it means nothing to be immune for one round. :P That said, it doesn't look like they'll really matter by the end. |

| | I didn't mind the immunities. For a brief period of time (due to real life issues) I felt I "needed" to win an immunity, but never really made it a priority to win. A CK should win on his/her own merits, and it shows in the end that this was the case. |

| Site Staff | The staff could just eliminate them in the next round anyway so they'll end up going out just a bit later. I think there were only immunities for the first and second rounds anyway, so people would only manage to get into the around the last 30 or so anyway. It's not like someone could win the thing based on just immunities. |

| | :o I don't recall any hate in my general gaming or Crono thread. Stop being so bitter and one sided! See the whole picture of fun =D Also...It could have been far far worse(and way more humorous) as demonstrated here Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Holy **** this is a trainwreck - Modojo Community ;D |

| Site Staff Cid's Knight | I don't mind immunities in the earlier rounds when there's 50-71 contestants as there's so many people that immunizing a couple people isn't going to prevent someone that really deserves a chance a space to move on. But once you get down to 30 or less candidates I do believe that everyone should advance on their own merits. Plus, some of the immunities were fun. Although they should have been held for longer periods of time rather than "First five people to be on at arbitrary time will have a chance at immunity." |

| Senior Site Staff Administrator | Activity has increased in the forums for a certain demographic of users. The nature of the event allows only for registered users to participate and has little chance to entice unregistered users to participate. I believe that the immunities were added to the event to emulate the feel of a reality television show. |
