I thought this was a good idea until edczxcvbnm lost. I am completely serious.

I think the idea was good, it was just fatally flawed by the fact that all the people who should be staff members either already are or don't want to be. :C

They must need a new CK for some reason if they are doing a public competition.

Theoretically speaking they could've received a bunch of unqualified applicants. Then what?

I honestly dont see what the big deal is, I personally have enjoyed reading all the aplicants entery's and so they lost? was EoFF that unbareable before it came along that the thought of returning here as a normal member after being declined unbareable? I feel that people who react badly to being rejected would not have made a good CK, maybe im wrong on this but life is about the experence, and those of you who have entered have left with some experence as to what it would be like to be a CK and as such you should be thankful and not bitter as they say: The journey is the destination.

I think if you can't stand losing, don't enter a competition with 69 other people. Seriously. The odds of winning are slim. People who can't take rejection need to just stop doing anything.

ed was being a dick to the other contestants and his threads for round four were all about how much he hated the games he was posting about. He'd make a better troll than a CK if that's how he's going to behave. He probably would have made it to the last round if not for that kind of behaviour. But then, if he was really serious about it, he probably wouldn't have done those things in the first place, and if he's not serious about wanting to be a CK, he shouldn't be one.

I think this has been overall pretty fun for everyone, so I'd say it's a good thing.

I think it would be better to get a CK the way you usually do it, and not a competition, but thats just me.

Though some people are having fun with it, so I can't say it's really a bad thing.

However I don't really notice the forums being any Livelier then normal, but I am a pessimist after all.

Edit: Also, WTF is with immunities. If they fail a challenge they fail. A person should never be given immunity. If they aren't qualified, they shouldn't be allowed to advance, period.
