[Ouch!]

This isn't exactly urgent by any means, but it's certainly weird. I've noticed that the numbers displayed for how many PMs I have are contradictory to how many are actually in my inbox.

For example, it just told me that I have 100 confirmed messages and one unconfirmed message. I just pruned my inbox and sentbox. Between the two, I only have 27 messages. A while ago, it insisted that I had an unread message when all of the messages in my inbox had clearly been read.

Like I said, it's nothing particularly urgent. It's just weird, and I was wondering if I was the only one this was happening to?

We have an idea of something that this could be caused by (if you will care to search, you may or may not find other threads about certain PM issues), and an idea of how this could be fixed, but I don't think anyone has done it yet. Thank you for continuing to bring it to our attention, though!

Maybe we should ask vBulletin for a Rebuild PM Table Counters to fix this like they already have for users/forums/posts in the database

I think there's some option to not send a read-pm receipt, otherwise I have to take it up with proto for not ever reading my screen name competition nominations/votes
