Well except maybe this: Just shrug and move on. If you REALLY don't care about the refferal thing then you'd realize that there isn't much to argue for here. Obviously your views on advertising is different then others, but hey who cares? Continuing to argue against Renmiri's would be trying to rain on a parade (which will never work anyway since Renmiri hasn't violated a rule) out of spite, which isn't cool.

You said yourself that you rarely post here. If you rarely post here, that would lead most people to believe that you have no interest in participating in discussion. If you post a thread that contains an advertisement, and one that benefits you to boot, it's only reasonable to assume that you posted the thread with the intent of reaping the benefits of the advertisement, and not in order to initiate a discussion.

There is a thin line between bringing up something to discuss it and bringing up something to advertise it. Your thread, because of it's wording and because of your posting trends, fell on the side of the line that made you sad. You can (a) make yourself more aware of where that line is and fix it or (b) get over it. Your magic (c) option of make snide remarks about the capability of the staff here isn't going to get you anywhere.

Besides, saying that you don't post much, and then posting just for the sake of reaping benefits for yourself makes it look like advertising, whether you like it or not, and that's not cool. Suck it up and move on.

This is my beef to begin with. It wasnt an entire "ad" deal. I did ask if people did played, if they have heard of the site, blah blah blah. My entire thread was erased, not just the referral, which I suppose should have been the only thing according to the 'rules'.

You should be aware that it is entirely possible to get what you want, but if you cannot see how to do it, no one will tell you how to do so. Besides, even if you did recreate your thread for discussion, I doubt that small role-playing game would garner any recruits to your cause — and that would defeat the purpose of trying to get the recruit bonus.

Renmiri isn't a mod, she's site staff. So is Baloki and he got banned. Site staff aren't above the rules.
