I think (if we can) we should make a few messages and have them randomly displayed each time the close is clicked - quite like those "angelfire"(?) or "angerfire"(?) websites that contain dead links. Each time you click on dead link you get taken to a page that has a random silly message like "This website has been abducted!" or "Well done! You've broken the internet!" and always ends with "acctually we just couldn't find the page", so maybe it could end here with "acctually this is just a closed thread", or something.
