The site is defaultly set on GMT time, so thats probably it.

Sometimes forums have weird times. I have a screen shot of a forum I used to go to that had posts listed on the index which were posted in the future.

probably something to do with the fact that the site just crapped out for a bit. maybe it's year end server maintenance.

1969 at least makes sense because that's the first date in the unix calendar.
