To Vivisteiner and Discord: Neither of you really has any idea what I believe about Jon Thompson, so don't make assumptions. I said to leave the conspiracy theories out of this thread - it's disrespectful and disrespect is against the rules.

None of you have any proof that Jon Thompson is lying, you just have your assumptions. If you think he's a liar, don't post in the thread, simple as that.

Any discussion or assumptions on my ability to do my job should be directed to me via PM or to the Feedback Forum. Any discussion or assumptions on my cognitive and discretionary abilities should be addressed to me personally through PM. Because they ain't got to do with the topic at hand.

You do understand that you're the one who is causing ruckus now, don't you? The argument was perfectly valid and was pointed out (and agreed upon) by a fair number of members. There's a significant difference between lack of paranoia and ignorance, which you simply don't seem to understand. The user has lost his credibility in the given thread, to which there is absolutely no arguing. The two posts within the 7 minute interval (where one is written in a perfect spell-checker English and the other in perfect drunk-generator English) ARE your proof. If you simply choose to ignore it, great, but that not what your shiny, blue title is there for.

This is neither the first time you've stuck out in this manner, nor do I get the feeling that you're willing to change your policy towards the assumptions regarding the credibility of certain statements. Enforcing silence, simply because you want to look like a nice, Christian girl in God's kingdom, who tolerates every idiocy generated in EoEO, is barely a good tone towards the individual(s) pointing out the fraud.

Making personal attacks based on your perceptions about me will not help you win this argument. You like to do that. You once thought I was a man. The mistake in that case is understandable. However, I am not a Christian. I wasn't even raised in a Christian household. I did consider myself a Christian for a couple of years, but not for a long, long time. You believe that my enforcing the rules in EoEO against someone who makes a post that breaks the rules is because they are an atheist. I think you believe this because I've busted you in a thread for being disrespectful before, and that thread happened to involve atheism. I don't target people because of their beliefs/nonbeliefs. I target people who are disrespectful - people who break the rules.

For the thread in question, this again meant you - as well as Vivisteiner. I guess one could say that the difference in posts can be proof that Jon was at least attempting trick his audience into the idea that he was drunk. It doesn't offer proof that his girlfriend didn't leave him, it doesn't offer proof that he didn't cheat on his girlfriend ... it isn't proof of anything other than he was pretending to be drunk.

Of course it logically follows that one would make a character judgment on Jon Thompson at that point. I myself did. An EoEO thread seeking advice and solace, however, isn't the place to let that character judgment fly. It is disrespectful to accuse someone of lying.

You broke the rules. I warned you for it - in thread and pretty politely. Which is kind of incredible. I'm not usually so polite to repeat offenders ... or anyone for that matter. xD
