First paragraph: Oh, bloody hell, foa, good Christian girl in the kingdom of God is a well established expression in English literature. I don't give a pense about your religious, sexual or cultural views. IT'S AN EXPRESSION! Read more and you'll avoid this sort of situations in the future.

Second paragraph: Nobody ever claimed otherwise. His word was put in doubt by the fact that he tried getting attention, just as the guy before when you killed my reply and the guy before him as well (who then admitted that he was lying). Not more, not less. That doesn't turn a lie into the truth. The situation with his girlfriend is completely irrelevant.

Third paragraph and onwards: Look, if you're so keen on respect, tell me, is it respectful to lie to someone who's willing to give you advice? Is it even more respectful for a moderator to thereafter blame the individuals, who have accused the person of lying (which I hope you do realise he did), in doing so? There are only two people being impolite here: the author (who lies to those who want to help him) and you (who supports the lies of the author by ordering the others to keep quiet). It seems to me that you're failing to understand this simple point.

This is not the first time either. Let me remind you of the last time you've cut down someone, who spotted that the author was telling fairytales. It wasn't about God, your gender or whatsoever. The author then admitted that he did in fact "slightly" change the facts, which made his highly dramatic tale look like a piece of everyday life. People were encouraging him to do this and that, telling him how good of a fellow he is, to find out that it was all a bluff, which YOU skillfully protected. You gave out a warning of full EoFF ban nevertheless.

Umm... I don't think that -I- have called anybody a liar in that thread, so do me a favour and quit imagining things, will you?

As for the regulation in total, I haven't seen anybody else, save yourself, truly follow it. Now you might say that it's not a reason to break it and I do doubt that it has any great meaning, behind it, but my interpretation of it is "do not call anybody a liar without a founded argument". Of course we don't want a "I think you're a liar" as the second post of every thread, but then again, if I made a thread discussing my superpowers, I think you would call me a liar pretty swiftly. Do not forget that you wouldn't have ANY PROOF either! The rule, as it is now, is plainly put, gullies.

Now onto the personal matter: foa, I don't have a personal problem with you. You can be as ignorant and incompetent, whilst following your little book, as long as you like, but for God's sake, stop acting like a complete moron. In all honesty, I just can't believe that you're a stupid as you come across (NB: This is not a reference to your person, but to the argument. No banning here.). The situations are so bluntly obvious (and we do most of the time get a feedback from the author admitting that he changed a fact or two) that I can't even believe that anybody, and I do mean anybody, can, with a clear conscience, grab out that rule and point at the ones who were treated like in the first place. We are not the ones who are being disrespectful, you are.

PS: Move this to the public section. It's not a private issue between foa and me, but a problem with the way she moderates the EoEO. There's no reason to hide this behind the iron curtain.

I moved this back to the public forum at Discord's request, and because I agree with him. This isn't a matter between he and I, it's a question that can be addressed in public. Anyone is welcome to chime in on my methods of moderating.

I am posting this from a friend's apartment, but I will respond to Discord's latest post when I get back home. For now I will say that calling me ignorant, incompetent, a moron etc. (ie making personal attacks) don't help your argument at all. You're not going to hurt me, and you're going to make yourself look like a jerk to everyone else.

First read, then talk. In the end of the day, I prefer being a jerk rather than a fat dumbarse, the honorary title which you have successfully acquired during the past couple of posts. If you can't cope with constructive critique, you're not suited for administrative tasks anyway.

I was reading the thread that Jon Thompson posted in and was almost tempted to post a reply myself when I read the posts about him "lying".

The way I see it, whether or not he's lying about being drunk has nothing to do with the topic. As Megan said, it doesn't prove that he didn't get drunk or that his girlfriend didn't leave him. Furthermore, just because he made two posts of differing coherence in that space of time doesn't prove that he wasn't drunk, not that it's relevant to the topic. He didn't make those two posts on the same night as he cheated, therefore there's no way anyone here can say that he wasn't drunk or that anything else in the first post didn't occur.

Megan's moderating is bang on what it should have been.
