Pro-active, yes. But I think we must also be realistic. To expand our territory, we'll need new watchers of that terriotry. Hostile take-overs might not be in our best interest, business-wise. Besides, the Turks have already made allies, and they were bigger than us to begin with.

Mmm, you make fair points. We cannot, of course, take action without having post-victory plans in place and ready to go. We could not, of course, even take action in the first place without adequate plans.

I retract my sentiment for the time being.

Also, it is a good point that we might do better with business than arms.

Much as that appeals to my evil side, my heroic side speaks against it.

My business side says we don't let either faction gain too much power and spend the next 50000 years perpetuating the war and then we can $$$.
