So I just finished watching Comedy Central's Roast of Pamela Anderson not more than an hour and 18 minutes and 31 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . aaargh!, so forth seconds ago. Lightning struck my sensitive area . . . my brain, and I had an catastrophe. "What if we had an annual Roast of the Eyes On Final Fantasy Forums?"

The idea got me so excited, I had a wet dream just thinking about it.
Imagine the fun we could have, all the laughs from a 3-day-long thread taking cheap shots at people we barely know.

Actually, I got the idea (after watching the Roast) after replying to a post about whether there were Continue Plus options in FF7. -N- replied something and I quoted him and told a joke. It may not have been funny but it got me thinking . . . uh-oh!

We could Roast the goers and the comers and the dearly departed, the hizzles, the fizzles, and the G-double-bizzles, and let's not forget the people who run this place . . . yeah, you know who I'm talking about . . . :joey: . . . yeah . . . me, Mercen-X, myself and the .

Seriously though, where would we be without the CK's and the Admins. We certainly wouldn't have Superman and who doesn't need added minutes for their phone?

Roasts are regulated though. People never hire any random idiot off the street to perform a roast. These would be people you could trust to bring the joke and leave the insult at the door. Like Loony BoB. I feel I also would qualify as I am non-bias toward anyone. I hate everyone at these forums. You see how good I am at this? It wouldn't be open to flaming if we regulated who was allowed to roast.

It would go: Pre-thread: Post if you want to roast Eyes On (and Eyes On Members). The Forums (Admins, CKs, and members alike) will decide who best to hear from via voting. The votes should be about who here doesn't have personal quarrels with anybody else and would be able to dish out the "all-in-good-fun" insults for everybody equally. Actually, the best jokes aren't even insults, they're actually just funny tidbits of truth. Things that you know or speculate through hearsay about a particular.

It's something I believe we should at least try and if it should go down the tubes, so be it, we don't have to try it again. But hey, some hick was allowed to filter nin-ja to pirate, I think we could try this, okay?
