We have things already in which only a few can participate. We could consider it a competition. Those who make the members laugh the hardest without hurting any feelings will receive the intangible "Funniest Roaster" award. People could post in the roast thread their opinions of the jokes and whatnot. My suggestion is that each roaster would get all that he/she had to say out in one post long or short. One post is where each roaster would have their say, no matter who they're talking about.
It's easy enough for members like me to look through the threads and see the funny things that can be said about people without hurting them, because those respective people honestly think it funny as well.
You see? A roast isn't about making everybody else laugh at somebody. A roast is about making somebody laugh at themself.
