I somewhat doubt it would have been archived regardless of what I, and others, did with the HTML. However, if what Del is saying is the case, how about they delete the offending posts with the crazy HTML and then archive the thread?

It would not have been archived but it may have been left in GC for people to look at at least. I wouldn't know, though.
