Banning suggestion part deux

Can we include a page that shows lists of banned members (other then the obvious forum raiders we get every once in awhile) that shows why these people were banned or something?

I would do search for the usuer's last post but it's usually edited by mods so I can't tell.

I believe it's been mentioned, if not discussed, once. I forget the reason, but the answer was no.

The reason everyone is banned: they broke the rules.

...Isn't this same idea mentioned at least once every year? It seems I hear this same dumb suggestion at least as often as I hear about a Xenogears forum.
