Name change

Can we rename the 'Video Game Music / The Spirits Within' forum to the 'Final Fantasy Multimedia' forum? That way we can have things like FF anime or any related stuff discussed there (not that it comes up, but that damn movie hardly comes up either - get rid of it!) Or something better if someone has a suggestion. I've always disliked that title.

But it's "Video Game Music," not just "Final Fantasy Music," so it should be renamed to "Video Game Multimedia," in which case it should just be merged with General Gaming and be done with it. No one discusses the damn movie, anyway.

Raist raised the point I was going to bring attention to. "Final Fantasy Multimedia" is too narrow a topic, and there'd be limited discussion.

I'd have to disagree with his other proposal, though. There are other, equally inactive forums (that's pointing out that VGM/TSW is active enough; not a complaint about the inactivity of other forums) and General Gaming Discussion is pretty busy by itself. It wouldn't be so bad if a merge occured, but it's not absolutely necessary.

The subject matter of the forum would have to be figured out before a proper name change. "Video Game Multimedia" is a good, broad topic, but the title doesn't really work. It's catchy, but doesn't stick out to users as more than an aesthetically pleasing, smooth flowing group of words. They will see it, say "wtf", and go elsewhere, I think. But I suppose that's what the descriptions are for.
