Regarding the latest announcement - Page 2

See, that's the thing. Making an announcement, saying "ZOMG WE'LL WARNZ0RZ YUO IF YUO SPAMZ0RZ" looks like the EoFF staff overreacting (I'm not actually saying you are, but that's the impression a lot of people are going to get regardless). What does it matter if people spam before they hit the Report Post button? As Cid once famously said, "It's just spam."

Also, what does it matter if people make quips about the staff's reaction time? No one's going to leave the board over it; they're just doing it to take the piss. I highly doubt anyone actually thinks the staff's reaction time is a serious issue; hell, I'd just as soon you'd have been slower, because you got the thread closed before I could even put in my "wtf teh password doesn't even work

" post. Which was highly disappointing to me, by the way.

And this is bad spam? As has already been pointed out, they reported the thread after posting in it, and I don't see how posting "ZOMG you're going to get banned" is harming anyone ;P

Obviously all this "nice modding" everyone else has been doing isn't working for you. If you can't reason with a dog to stop peeing on the carpet, you rub his nose in it.

I think, yes the announcement was ok, but naming names is a bad thing, maybe next time quote the posts and leave the names off? But in the end I guess its the staffs perogitive of what they do anyway

ing daycare. If his name wasn't there, Psy would still be annoyed and find something else in the announcement to complain about.

I don't see why I should have to leave the names off. They've done it enough, so they might as well be made an example of. Maybe I should of left Jelli's name off though, because I've never heard anyone complain about his posts.
