#1 Now then, I just read that there was such a thing as a journal forum.... How come it was never on the front page so I could visit it and post in it? Its closed now because only 3 people used it, but if you'd made it a little more obvious it could have been cool ![]() |

| Former Staff | www.livejournal.com It's free. Most people already use it. That is why the Daily Grind didn't take off, for the most part. |

| Administrator | At the time it was closed, it was obvious. Either a main forum or a subforum of EoEO, can't remember which - but it was a main forum for the majority of it's life. I estimate that EoFF'ers made about 200-300 entries in LJ for every entry made in Daily Grind. And that's not including the people I didn't know that had an LJ, which would likely double that number (at least). |

| | The journal forum would've been a lot more worthwhile if people could comment to entries, but even then it would've been worthless to compete with LJ. We have something similar on FG (the journal hack) and no one ever really uses it except to discuss issues that pertain only to FG. It's an interesting diversion, nothing more. People still post most of their stuff on LiveJournal, and I reckon it's likely to stay that way - LJ gets a bazillion times the traffic, plus it's hella convenient. |
