My ultimate goal is to destroy the world. I've been over the "master plan" several times.
The core of the planet is supposedly composed mostly of nickel and iron. These metals are hot enough to evaporate into gas, but the pressure from the crust and mantle are so great that they retain their solid and liquid forms.
So, what happens if somebody manages to drill deep enough? The pressure is released, and the metals are free to evaporate. And it only has one place to go- through that single hole. I personally like the think that the effect would be like sticking a needle in a balloon, since it' the same principle. But Earth isn't made of rubber, and isn't going to tear to pieces so easily; it would probably be more like a particularly nasty volcano, spewing molten metal instead of stone.

I'm not big on vacations. I burn too easily. Anyplace where I can spend most of my time indoors, I guess.
