| Cid's Knight |
#25 Of course glitches are fixed. Otherwise what would be testers there for? Our job is very important, in that it avoids people to get a game translated like crap or bug-ridden like Oblivion. I think that the organization of the testing department falls under the silence agreement. But I can tell you there are people from Italy, Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlads and we are all divided into small teams; a team works on one game at a time. Tester need to collaborate strictly within each team, if that's what you mean. Otherwise, please explain. |

| | Hmm... Bad phrasing on my part. What I was meaning to ask is: When you see the finished game, how much of your work do you see in it? Do you ever notice something that you personally had suggested, and, if so, how do you feel when you see your ideas reflected in the final product? You pretty much got what I was asking. I was wondering how much of the testing was individual work, and how much the team members had to work with each other. |

| Cid's Knight | I see. Well, we tester can change only very small and limited things. If you find an unclear/ambiguous sentence, for example, you can give a suggestion on how to change it, and it may or may not be accepted. You know very soon if your suggestion has been taken or not. But sometimes some bugs and misspelling are really hilarious, and you remember them every single time you see that game. XD I tend to feel attached to the games I've worked the longest on, they're a bit like my babies. :P Me too. T_T |

| Cid's Knight | A support group for stroopwafel addiction? Hum, fave anime? Yes, sure I watch anime, but I'm rather retro in my taste. I'd say Shojo Kakumei Utena, even though if I watch that anime again from beginning to end, I'm sure something not good will happen to my brain. X_x |

| Cid's Knight | That would be too awesome to exist and therefore, defying the laws of reality, it would cease to be in an explosion of apocalyptic proportions. Let us not ruin the world like that. :P Becoming a Cid's Knight is done through an ancient and arcane ritual that involves the full moon, strange magical scribbles (actually some argue that's Japanese) and a pair of unwashed Kishi's socks. Sorry, I can't tell you any more. What you just read will delete from your mind after 30 seconds. Hold still... ![]() |
