DISCLAIMER: All due respect to Necronopticous, I'm trying not to copy him, I just love doing Let's Plays

Welcome to Final Fantasy IV, where you will be following the story of Digimon's Stingmon:




And an as yet unidentified gender-neutral blond with minimal facial features.



I've only played this game briefly a good 5 years ago, and I didn't get too far, so hopefully this will be a learning experience.


Kicking off with Cecil, who I'm pretty sure is the main character, preparing for battle.

Getting control, I realise that my emulator sucks. This is a 2D game, for chrissakes. It can't be that complicated to render tables and chairs with a bit of transparency.

During my travels around the castle, Cecil starts hearing voices in his head.




Oh wait, It's just Brian Blessed.




Anyway next morning, we get rolling to somewhere I don't know because I skipped the opening scene

Credits? I finished the game already?




Fooling around in town, I find some tall grass.

Oh, just a bad dream.


I also bumped into Jess




If only she would do this for me in real life




Moving on, I arrive at a cave.




First boss fight!




ATTACKING CAUSES COLD MIST




After setting the town on fire, Cecil and Kain attempt to rape a young girl.




and we end up having to take an unconscious Rydia to the hospital.

I'll get my screenshots later. And will there be a star awarded for the fastest completion time like in the other ones? I'm not sure if I want to play it normally or speed through it, or even do a walkthrough because my Humor Level has gone sour after witnessing Old Manus' greatness.

In the world of FFIV, changing subjects mid text bubble is perfectly normal.



And here we are. Following the story of Leeza and her best friend Lancea (Sir Lancealot) as they go out and be bad asses together. What a lovely friendship of bad assery, it'll never go wrong!

Or until Titan crushes Lancea leaving Leeza alone with a little girl...



Leeza is so bad ass she goes to sleep in her full armor.



And thus the beginning of a new story of 1 bad ass and a sickeningly cute little girl begins!

I'm playing the DS version and the only challenge I'm attempting is to complete the game. However, if I manage to obtain pink tail then that would be good.

That was a very long opening but the journey has begun.
