I might actually join in this time, see if I can play more than the 30 minutes I did last 2 times I attempted this game before putting it down in disgust GBA version for me though, so I can hold the turbo in the emulator to speed through anything remotely boring

Anywaysum, I'm a slightly sociopathic sort. Ergo I'm going to be playing the original NES version. I'll also be subjecting myself to the following challenges;

No Physical attacks

Last character slot only (with three characters, this is Guy)

Starting stats/basic equipment (whatever is found in the first town. You can go Knuckles for your weapon.)

I don't know if I'll be the quickest (I've got time off soon though), the quirkiest (if Rantzien's playing he wins by default) or if I have the best character names (hint; it's a grid-based system). I'll leave that up to the judges.

Well, I'm off to get my butt handed to me. Chow!



EDIT: Something I need clarifying for this; when it comes to items, can we still use them as items in battle (i.e. the one's that cast spells), or are we not allowed to use them at all?

I'm liking it so far, it's a bit different but I'll get used to it. Training outside the first town at the moment, bought Fire, Ice, Bolt and Cure, took me ages cause the money you get from battles is hardly anything.
