| Cid's Knight | ![]() I think Leila's got a thing for Han, really. Just she's trying not to show right now. ![]() I dare anyone to still say that Pirates are cool after seeing these. ![]() OMG OMG FRUIT JELLY MONSTERS!!!!! SO CUTE AND CCOLORFUL!!!! MOMMY CAN I KEEP THEM?!?!?!!? Seriously, I'll bet they smell like strawberry and pineapple. ![]() My Ice spells have become quite powerful lately. ![]() We've met with a young Einstein. ![]() Poor, poor wyvern. ![]() ![]() Try talking with this, genius! ![]() ![]() Han: "I knew this was too good to be true." ![]() ![]() The Mandatory Behemoth Battle. ![]() I reckon nobody wants to argue that Gordon doesn't look better like this. ![]() ![]() FF II houses can crumble like cookies on the outside while remaining perfectly intact in the inside. ![]() Han "You're really sure, uh? It's not that you'd actually like to..." *whispers in Hilda's ear* Hilda: *smacks Han upon the head* ![]() Now, if the Emperor gave Fynn to a castellain like this, there is no doubt he's a bit soft in the head. ![]() You tell me, huh. The difference is that you'll remain with your royal behind on this comfy throne, while I'll have to go around gettin punched by monsters. Right? ![]() The Wyverns are actually... Yoshis?!? ![]() Yay!! |

| | The number of evasions possible naturally increases like your base stat as you avoid attacks. Unlike stats it has a very low chance to increase per battle, something like 1 in 64. If you keep avoiding attacks during battles your evasion should go up. Magic evasion works in the same way, except it goes up for any kind of magic attack. An effective way of levelling it up early is to head far north of Phin until you reach the area where Wizards are. They hit you with magically attacks almost exclusively. Using this area I've managed to get my characters up to 8 or 9 magic evasion, covering them for most of the rest of the game. |

| | It's possible, but my gut instinct tells me Magic Def doesn't increase when you have beneficial spells cast on you. Also in regards to Agility it has a chance to increase whenever you successfully dodge an attack in battle. The more attacks you dodge the more often your Agility will go up. That's why it's worth having mages in the front row, otherwise their Agility goes down and they end up last in order which can be deadly if you're relying on them for healing. |

| Cid's Knight | I'm not at all likely to finish this by April's end, I have far too much school in the way and I suspect I'm virtually in the beginning still. Nevertheless, it seems to be a fun game, although I'm not overly keen on the stat growth system. And what's with the town names, guys? Paloom? Poft? Bafsk?! ![]() |
