#153  Alright, I voted. I must say I am quite surprised at some of the nominations for Best Member and there were definately toughies, but one thing is for sure... *waves at Christmas* |

 | I feel it's important to mention: Voting should be toward the person who you feel has deserved the award for the last 6 months, or the time between the last Ciddies and this current one, and NOT based strictly on track record or popularity. For that reason, I didn't really feel I should be nominated for any awards because I've only been around here for about the last two months and others in categories along with me have been here the full time, so it seems unfair that I'd even get consideration. Granted, I'm flattered to be nominated, but I feel that are many more worthy choices and I hope that when the votes get tallied, the people who have been contributing for the last 6 months, or whatever the current window is, are justly rewarded. Of course, this is a very idealistic way of thinking because at the end of the day, we'll all probably vote for friends if we can't think of someone who flat out deserves a given award, but I felt that it should at least be worth stating.  | no nominations for me? oh well. i guess i have sort of been stolen by the site in my sig. i guess i would have got a nomination if i'd have stayed. but i'll be going for a ciddie next time. but suprisingly enough i do have a life outside of forums.
