You could always start a party and name someone else as your puppet leader. That's the name of the game after all.

I think the requirements opens up some great possibilities, like adminning Psychotic right before the deadline so that the BAotW party is disqualified. Del Murder was also a party leader last year. I'm sure he'll find a way around it.

But I'll consider the rule since it seems to only really serve the purpose of oppressing BoB.

It's also not necessarily the case that party leaders will face off in a vote. The challenge of party leader is to take more seats. Just not any of these seats:

But he made the party, it's a continuation of parties he's had other years, and now he has to give it up to someone else because of some silly technicality? That's no good.
