So I love making up characters, so here are few more NPCs who are part of the Sorencrest royal court. Really they are leaders of training academies, so they have a real purpose, not just to have a whole gang of people to pal around with.

Biography:
Trained since birth in the ways of the earth and its mysterious powers, Alrik has known a life of hardship. Most of his clan was wiped out by a terrible sickness that struck them many years ago, and he and the few survivors ended up splitting apart not soon after. He spent many years traveling across the continent perfecting his craft and cursing the existence he was left with, until he was approached by the former king of the Imperium with an offer to head a training facility for Geomancers. Alrik accepted the offer after some thought. He saw this as his opportunity to expand his power. He would never again be a homeless wonderer. Now he was master of hundreds of students and commanded great respect. He will do whatever is necessary to further the goals of the Imperium and subsequently his own gain.
Physical Description:
Very pale and head completely shaven. Due to an accident a few years back during an experiment, he left eye is dead and sealed shut. Short and stout, the comforts of civilized life added a bit of fat on his already stocky body.
Personality:
Very ambitious, and though he looks somewhat slothful, he is by no means lazy. He is always hard at work either training his students or working on research for his sovereign. Progress is the only thing acceptable to this man.

Biography:
Daughter to two former Holy Roller captains, Dagmar had her destiny laid out at birth. She was accepted to the academy at the age of 11, the youngest squire for generations. Proving her skill beyond anyones wildest hopes, she was soon a personal guard to the former king. Now she serves Svantkurn as Headmistress of the Holy Roller Academy and also as a reserve general. Rumors have floated around about a possible love connection between herself and Svantkurn, but more reliable sources seem to point to her having a relationship with a foreign leader.
Physical Description:
Standing over 6 feet tall with short and spikey red hair, she strikes an imposing figure. Scars mark her body from many violent engagements, but she wears them well. She has a suburst shaped birth-mark on her right shoulder blade.
Personality Description:
Incredibly headstrong, and though she is very loyal to the Highlord, she often times ignores his orders when she deems it prudent. This has caused the two to but heads, but they still work well together. A strict teacher, she works her students half to death in an effort to make sure that the Imperium has the finest soldiers on the battle field as possible. A fearsome opponent, Dagmar prefers to garb herself heavily in protective spells before engaging opponents with her stone-headed maul and large shield.

Biography:
Faelar was the bodyguard of a client of Svantkurn's former business. After his employeer retired, Faelar offered him a position within the Imperium forces. Still lusting for battle, Faelar readily accepted and now is the commander of Imperium forces in the field.
Physical Description:
Looks like a Bangaa, but more so. Very dark earthy color. Wields the great sword Django.
Personality Description:
Completely unpredictable. Kills at the drop of a hat, but is loyal to a fault to the Highlord. Doesn't talk much.

Also, running with an idea BoB had, I've made racial jobs with their own special skill set. Any PC or NPC also counts as having their racial job, and may pick abilities from the Racial Job list as well as their normal Job List. Anyone who wants to may rearrange their skills to take Racial Job skills. Also, clarifying some rules about soldiers trained in military academies, go ahead and check that out in the city builder thread.

Biography: He grew up experimenting with chemicals as a young boy, gaining top marks at the royal academy. Son of one of the richest men in Ordalia, his father paid for a great education, and it paid dividends. Carl is recently graduated and already looks to be one of the most skilled chemists of all time.
Physical Description: Rather short and stocky. Short black hair, hunches frequently, blind in one eye due to a chemical explosion as a child.
Personality Description: Doesn't enjoy being bothered by people when working, but loves showing off and announcing every one of his breakthroughs. His catchphrase is "HEY! Look what I did!" When around people, he tries his hardest to fit in and be a member of the popular crowd, though he is usually paid no mind.
