Let me start off by saying that this a serious application. I have always wanted to, and will always want to become one of Cid's Knights. If you will come back in time with me to the era where the Ciddies first began, you will find that I, Linus, once upon a time, was voted Most Likely to be the Next Cid's Knight. I kid you not, ask Loony BoB for a spreadsheet. Seven years and several months later, I am still extremely active in the online world and believe that I have the ability to help users at these forums. I am knowledgeable about many of the Final Fantasy games and have some experience moderating forums. Loony BoB can vouch for that, as I moderated for him for quite a while at the Aiyon forums. BoB also trusts me enough to use his homestead account for my own personal use, and to visit his mother in New Zealand. I am an intelligent person, and will make intelligent decisions regarding actions towards improper posting and the members responsible. I am familiar with many current members of Cid's Knights and believe that I can continue to work alongside them amicably if given the chance. Although I'm a self-confessed spammer (and a poor one at that), I do try my best to help out the community when I'm not spamming, hell I even spent 2 years banned and still working on the front site, if that's not madness, erm I mean commitment, I don't know what is.
