#73 deviantART has some amazing artists on their site. If I want to feel inspired, I'll go and browse through some galleries there. But I find it hard to get much feedback on the site because there are soooooo many users and soooooo many works being uploaded everyday, that it's almost impossible to get genuine critiques and comments there. Also, all the drama and politics that goes on is annoying too. Especially when the more established artists on the site start bagging on each other. I'd prefer a smaller art community that's a bit more focused and less ginormous and scattered. |

| | SheezyArt is smaller and is trying to gear towards putting newer artists in the spotlight. Which is hard, and their automated frontpage system isn't perfect (There are numourous complaints of the low quality of some pieces that get there), but it's a hell of a lot easier to get noticed. I've had a SheezyArt account for a year or so now, but I'm not going to post it because I don't use it very often and what's already up there is old and crappy. |
