I love how fine the lines are and your artwork is! She looks like you pulled her out of a coloring book, sorta!

A friend of mine said it looks like an American artist merely trying to imitate manga. He was rather brutal in his judgement. Can you people give me opinions, thoughts and reasons? I liked the drawing, but now I'm really not so sure anymore.
Also, any example of possibly "good" imitation?

I think its awesome looking. As far as manga goes, Just slap on the manga eyes and I wouldnt know any better.
