Golden Hair

Second in the series of the tattoo faeries. My friend chose the colors , so this one is blond and not red-haired as usual. I tried to draw wings that would be less realistic, but softer in shape and color than last time.

Actually, that effect is a very thin layer of white gouache over the already colored body. Then I let it dry and used colored pencils over it.

That's beautiful. It looks great. The only criticism I have is that the wings don't look very 'attached'. Other than that it's smurfing incredible.

I have tried to do that effect with just color pencils and is super hard to do, personally I have never been able to make it perfectly..

It's beautiful. I love the wings so much. But her corset/skirt is very well drawn as well.
