What is Rootbeer?

I know this may seem dumb, but we don't have root-beer in the UK, and the board description said we could talk about it... I hope I don't get banned.
But what is it? Could someone tell me?

Well, no, but the topic description said rootbeer. I know it's a joke, but they didn't know that everyone would get it, so I'm still going by the rules. I think.

I did not notice that in the forum description before so thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Root beer is a drink here just like Coke or Pepsi or Mountain Dew...just a little better tasting.

Root beer may be discussed in General Chat or Eyes on Each Other so you are free to start a new thread in there, although I'm sure we had one only just recently. This thread I will close because, really, this forum is for Arts & Writing.
