The first one is of a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonator who was stumbling along Hollywood Boulevard, mumbling something about Elvis being a prat. The second features the Hollywood Metro Rail, and the third is inside the beautiful Kodak Theatre, home of the Academy Awards.

I like the second one the best. I love the way the light is reflecting on the ceiling, it looks nice.

Those are awesome photos. The Captain Jack impersonater looks a lot like Depp.

nice composition, very strong. Call it my personal style, but the lighting might benefit from a little filtering (assuming they're film shots, and you print them yourself) or a run with the burn/dodge tools on photoshop (assuming they're digital)

Sparrow:
this one is my least favored of the three, if only because what's in focus has a lot of the attention taken from it because of the huge bright spot behind him. maybe beef the contrast on depp-a-like, and burn in the Light area of the pavement and background? that'd put more emphasis on the crisp focus in the foreground.

Subway:
Easily my favorite. If anything, the only problem is the rather glaring nature of the walls. The lighting focuses best on the metal of the escalator and ceiling, and the wall just detracts from it a wee bit.

Kodak theatre:
A solid picture, if a bit conservative and common place. Also, if you look, the framing is just a wee bit rotated clockwise. You can kind of tell if you compare the middle frame over the stairs to the angle of the matte. good pic, just not quite as bold or finessed as the Metro.

Excellent stuff though, really. I'd love to see more some time. (by the way, anytime i see promising work, i rag on it. the way i see it, crap work deserves little critique because it's not going to get but so much better. excellent work deserves every flaw pointed out, solely because the artist has the talent to fix them. so, assuming i am deemed worthy of it, feel free to rag all over my stuff. I'd appreciate the criticism.)

Very nice. Like others, I think the second is probably my favorite. Your pretty good at taking pictures, unlike me.
