It may not help a huge amount, but I just decreased the brightness of the image. See attached for the result, it may be a bit easier to see.

As I said, Tiffany, I think it's pretty bloody good for a first attempt.

I'm only learning cause I've never been able to do anime stuff before, but it's something I really do want to do. So I'll be practicing more/learning different styles/techniques etc until I find my own style that suits me

I could always see it.. but then again I also draw too lighly when I do draw.

Anyways looks similar to chibi style.. and It is quite nice if you view it that way.

[edit] if you can .. work on emotion... .. I don't get much from it. Could be just me though.

But it's a little light...?? Oh well, nice drawing anyways! Maybe you can work on the face a little more, and the hands, too, but nah! It's great that way! Awesome drawing!
