Hmmmm inking dunno whatya mean black ink or colour?

when you draw a picture in pencil, people in comics useually ink it. Theres many ways to ink a picture but quite often it means simply going over your lines (the ones you want to keep) with a black pen or fine paintbrush. Once the ink is dry you rub out all the sketch lines or things you dont want and you have a strong black and white image. If you use waterproof ink you can colour or paint straight over your original, or with a good inked picture you can photocopy it and then paint/colour your copys. If you want to see what inking is look for the picture of Shiva from FF8 i posted on this forum

well i find it makes my work look stronger, more understandable and it makes it easier for me to colour. Try just using a fineliner, as small as you can find.
