#1 For a computer graphics project, I had to make a vector art. I chose to do this picture: ![]() Nemo and Marlin. <3 I'm half done. I chose to do Marlin first because he's larger and easy to do. I've just started Nemo. The colours are a little lighter because I printed out the file in school, than scanned it here at home. It actually darker, and the colours are closer to the actual picture. I think I did a good job, considering this was my first vector art. Comments? ![]() Last edited by Rye; 01-07-2005 at 10:56 PM.. |

| | Thank you! ![]() I did this Vector Art on Adobe Illustrator. Basically, it's tracing shapes of a picture with the pen tool (which is harder than it sounds) and filling in it shape with a solid colour or gradient using the gradient tool or gradient mesh. I used gradient mesh, which is more difficult to use, but makes the colours nicer. |

| Banned | Ah, okay. The confusion was whether it was using the above method, or whether it was a 3D render (ie. Lightwave, Maya, Bryce etc.) I know what you mean. I've been wanting to get a tablet for that exact reason. |
