[A] A personal website layout design

Hey dudes and dudettes, was wondering if you could tell me what you think of this ^^
I have to make a small website about myself for an assignment at college. So this is the layout I have come up with. The images (chocobo and selphie w/ chocobo) aren't my own I just got them from the net but this site isn't even going on the net it's just for an assignment so I dont think it matters.

It's pretty simple I know but that's kinda my style when it comes to designing webpages. The text will be in the area on the right, probably white verdana or something, and the menu text will be yellow on rollover.

So I was just wondering if there was anything you think looked particularly bad about it that I haven't noticed or if you think it's too plain or colours are bad or whatever.

The type seems a bit blurry in your menu/navigation but besides that its cute !

Yeah thats just the style of the font I think, it's kinda a pixelly-style font that I like ^^ I was wondering if it may be a little hard to read actually :S Well I have layers so I can change it easily if I decide to

Oh wow the Squall pic *hugs it* I love that pic so much, I wonder who the artist is ^^

I dunno ... I typed SQUALL in google under Images and it poped up >.< I COULD look it up but that requires to not be lazy and that doesn't mesh with me heh.

If you made the type just a 1 pt smaller I am sure it would look less fuzzy.
