[A] Gimp manips

I have videoLan on my PC and disided to snap a few shots of the Karas Movie. I found this one pic and wanted to change it a little. the pic was origonaly the charactor "Lord Echo". I used Gimp to make a few changes so that it looks more like my roleplay charactor.

the first pic is the edit and the second is the origonal. Its my first real effert so go easy on me. And give me your helpful wisdom please

it looks pretty good in the preview!

I'd recommend using a smaller brush with a higher "hardness" setting to make it easy to cover all of the original colors and to keep it from getting too blurry

Go ahead and use a big brush to color the big areas, but then use the small one to do the edges!

its not a easy as it looks when you have shaky hands lol but I hope to get better at this soon.
