Welcome, to the [elementalswordplay] roleplay.

This is a tale about warriors from distant lands. The awakening of legends, and the birth of a great darkness consuming the land of Jijinsharu. This darkness, known as [Jinshimatsu], the shadow-consumed ronin soul. He bears the power of darkness, a sword-bearing catastrophe. Ten selected warriors have risen from the land, created to stop Jinshimatsu from destroying the planet...

RULES:
This RP must have only ten people, as the ten legendary warriors. Once we have ten, no one else can sign up.

That about does it. I am going to be the GameMaster, yet I will still be a legendary Warrior, so 9 more people can join.

Appearance: White spikey hair, White Samurai Armor, although doesn't carry a Daisho, just a Flame Katana. Regular eyes, with red irises.
Basic Skills: Throwing, Swords, Fists, Black Magic.
Tech: Flame Swipe, Fireball, Firafist, Fira (flame magic) and Swift Stab (With Kunai)

Weapons (s): Flame bow and arrows, two flaming Katanas (one on right hip othe ron left hip) and Kuno (A sword constructed from fire, located on back)
Job: Samurai
Appearance: Shaggy blue hair, Silver eyes, but eyes go red when mad. wears a cloak and scarf to cover body and face.
Basic Skills: Swords, Archery.
Specialized Tech.: Death to the Enemy: If Kuroshima dies, He stabs Kuno through his stomach and fire explodes from his body. Yang blade: The blade of his sword or Katana glows blue and can withstand more.

Element: water
Weapons (s): A staff, a water blade and a water knife
Job: Mage
Appearance:Blue hair blue eyes and a blue top and shorts
Basic Skills: White magic, black magic, swords, sneaking
Specialized Tech: Water spells=obvious
Drown =can instantly kill a weak enemy
cure spells= obvious
life spells =obvious
water embodiment=can do 2 things create a body out of water or possess someone by putting lots of water into their body

Name: Heero Yuy
Element: Air
Weapons (s): A katana on each hip and a nodachi on my back.
Job: Samurai
Appearance: short jet black hair, average sized muscles, red eyes, b;ack undershirt, black pants, priest collar used as a choker, necklace with a red cross.
Basic Skills: Swords, agility, acrobatics, tactics
Specialized Tech.: Double blade- Devastating combination by using both katanas.
Hell's Judgement: Sheathes katans and pulls out nodachi. Vanishes from opponent and then runs by them, slashing them several times with the nodachi.
Air bending (using air for several purposes)
Tornado of Swords- Uses air to create a tornado around oponent and then puts all three swords in the tornado having them spin around slashing the oponent many times.
Revival- Uses air to help regrow/heal dead objects such as plants and animals.

Name: Halo Diamond
Element: Lightning
Weapons (s):Knives and Martial Arts
Job: Mercenary
Appearance: tall and stocky with short black hair. Wears black tracksuit bottoms, a Black vest and black leather gloves.
Basic Skills: Throwing, White Magic, Sneaking, Agility, Fists
Specialized Tech::
-Rolling Thunder: hits wildly forward with a barrage of lightning fast punches
-Last Resort: lightning shoots from Halo's body, causing himself damage but damage to everyone around him too
-Flash Dance: Increases Halos speed for a short period of time
-Cure: heals...

Hmmm... interesting. I suppose I can join in this one, I've been meaning to get more involved in EoFF RPs, being the primary moderator for the RP forum and all.

Name: Togashi
Element: Air
Weapons (s): Shards of the Wind, four swords imbued with the power of air that Togashi keeps strapped to his back at all times. These blades are lighter than normal, allowing ease of manipulation, and the speed of their slash and sharpness of their blades are all enhanced with air magic.
Job: Ninja is probably most appropriate, so we'll go with that. The concept of the character is one who fights and uses his elemental magic, allowing each style to compliment the other.
Appearance: Togashi wears a plain white gi with a loose shirt and hakama, as well as volumnious sleeves. His hair is black and his eyes are a dark brown, and he is usually seen levitating just above the ground with his four swords dancing around him. Togashi wears sturdy leather boots, and his clothing is made of silk. He is slim, but well-built, having obviously had a great deal of training.
Basic Skills: Swords, Black Magic, Agility, Throwing
Specialized Techniques:
Currents of Manipulation: Using the power of air, Togashi can manipulate objects, keeping them suspended and using them with a great deal of proficiency, as if he were himself grasping them. This power is most often used to manipulate his swords, Togashi uses it to strike with his four swords in tandem, without touching them.
Levitation: Unlike with the Currents of Manipulation, which are used to maneuver smaller objects with great dexterity, Levitation is used to lift much heavier objects and send them flying through the air at great speeds, without paying much mind to accuracy or grace. Togashi uses this power to keep himself aloft, as well as to fling large parts of the landscape at his enemies and catch things that are falling. While Togashi can attempt to use Levitation on unwilling subjects, they are able to resist, making it more difficult for him to pick them up.
Wind Slash: Condensing the air around him, Togashi creates a blade of air that can cut through most objects with a combination of speed and sharpness. Togashi can use this offensively, or he can use it as a utility, removing chunks from large objects so that they can be hurled at foes or carving niches and doors into areas so that he can pass through.
Air be my Shield: Togashi increases the force of the air around him to repel attacks, protecting him from most mundane weapons as the air stops and rejects slashes, stabs, and other such strikes that are unleashed against him. Depending on how much he focuses on the shield, Togashi can use it to cover a small area or to completely encompass his body. Togashi may attack out of the shield as the air is set to repel things, and thus his blades will move outside of the barrier with increased force. However, in order for him to retract his weapon, he is forced to drop parts of the barrier in order to retrieve them.
Hurricane: Togashi gathers the power of air around him and unleashes it in a furious storm. This creates a stream of powerful winds that push away most objects and even dislodge and hurl objects that are not heavy enough. This sacrifices all manner of control, it is a steady stream of powerful winds, and the only thing Togashi can do with it is condense or widen the stream. A more condensed stream increases the power of the winds, while a wider stream lessens them but increases the affected area.

"Wake up. Wake up..." You faintly hear. You get out of bed. To your right, you see your weapons lying on a table, along with your clothes. After getting dressed and equipping your weapons, you walk downstairs, seeing the rest of your fellow warriors...

Walking downstairs, I see all my comrades.
"..." I say nothing. I had never seen them before, yet I know them somehow...
"Who're you guys?" I ask.

Kuroshima
I looked over at the person then went back to my own thoughts.

My blades sheathed, I lean against a wall, my eyes closed.

"I am Togashi," I say simply, not making any real movements and simply taking in the new setting that I've been thrust into.

"And you are?"

Heero Yuy

I pan around the room to see everyone there. "Nice to know you're not mute." I say apathetcially as I take a seat.

Kuroshima
I went over and took a seat in the corner and drew Kuno and began looking it over.

Heero Yuy

I move my eyes to the sword that Kuroshima was looking at. "Now there's something you don't see everyday." I say with little intrigue.

Kuroshima
I look up at Heero... then look back down at my sword.

Heero Yuy

"Aight, I know you're busy 'looking' at your precious weapon over there. Don't need to say anything." I shrug and sigh.

Kuroshima
I sheathed my sword and looked around.

"I can see I've wandered into perhaps the most socially inept group I've yet to encounter," I say wryly under my breath, but making sure my voice projects enough so that I can be heard by everyone in the room.

"For some reason, it seems that I know you all to be comrades. Let's hope you're all better in a fight than you are at small talk and basic social interaction."

Ailish
"hey guys what's kicking"*looks around the room* "what's the matter you don't want to talk"

Halo
*leans back in his chair and cleans his nails with one of his knives*

'Come on people, if we are going to fight togther, we should at least talk. Im Halo, pleased to meet y'all'

*yawns and gives a tired, feeble wave*

"Well howdy i'm ailish" walks over to halo and shakes his hand

'well hey there Ailish. its great to see some people around here are sociable, i can never really trust anyone who doesnt talk, look out for the quiet ones i always say'

'im a thunder mercenary from the north, i was on my way to see my uncle when i stopped at an inn to rest. Next thing i know i woke up in a castle. What about you?'

"I'm a water mage and i was asked to come here but i must have fallen asleep somehow because when i woke up i was in a completely different room" *sits down opposite Halo*

*leans forward and whispers to Ailish*

'look, i dont know whats going on here and i dont trust any of it. but if its one thing i've learned, its that its best to have a someone looking out for you. so how about it?'

*extends his hand*

'i look out for you, you look out for me...'

*whispers to Halo* "definetly we need to be careful we all woke up in a strange place but for all we know these guys might be behind all this let's investigate this place" *stops whispering to halo* "well i'm going to explore this castle want to come any one"

'sure, ill go, i need to shake off this sleepy feeling anyway'

*gets up*

*i open the door and wait for Halo* "come on then we had better hurry in case the people that brought us here arrive although they might already be here" *i turn and walk into the corridor to find many doors* "where shall we start"

*walks into the corridor and walks to a shabby wooden door*

'well in not a big fan of splitting up, so we'll both take this door to begin with...'

'you sure you want to do this? we have no idea who these people are, or what they will do to us if we are caught...*

*pushes open the wooden door and walks inside, the room is empty apart from a book lying in the center of the room. Halo walks over and looks at it*

"wait... i'll get it" *walks over to book and picks it up* "it's in a different language i can't read it... you try" *hands book to Halo* "well?"

Weapons: metal staff, a pair of foot long knifes.
Job: Mage
Appearance: Blond shoulder length hair, blue eyes, five foot high, small frame. Blue silk bandana, blue silk sleeveless top, metal shoulder pads held on by two black belts crossed over torso, black pleated skirt, black tight trousers, light brown lace-up boots. Black sleeves on arms up to mid-upper-arm, metal elbow and knee guards, light brown gloves, black belt with sheaths for the knifes and the belts on torso have a holder for the staff.
Basic Skills: White Magic, Black Magic, Sword, Agility
Specialized Tech:
Thunder Cross: Jumps at enemy and slashes in a cross shape, does thunder damage.
LightSpeed: runs at enemy very quickly slashing with knifes.
Thunder Circle: Uses staff to draw a circle of thunder, throws it at enemy
Healing Light: summons healing lightning from the heaven.
Lightning Daze: shoots lighning at foes, temporarily blinds enemies.

*takes the book, walks over to the window for light and starts to read, he just sits for a few minutes, continuing to read. a concerned look appears on his face, he closes the book and turns to Ailish*

'This is written in a mercenary code...its a diary, its about my the life of my family, about me...there are a few spells written in here that i guess i could use. but how did these people get this book? theres stuff here even i didn know about.'

*closes the book and looks up at Ailish*

'we need to be careful. who ever these guys are, they know a lot about us, for the first time in a long time, im actually feeling a little scared'

*the hands holding the book start to shake*

"let me have a look at those spells i might be able to find a few uses for them" *i take the book from Halo's hands* "what's the matter?"

Halo

*opens his mouth to talk, then hesitates and gives a fake smile*

'...heh, dont worry, the book just mentions my big bro, i always used to pick on me and stuff...heh. Now anyways, back to the spells'

*takes a deep breath to try and calm himself down. he points out the spells to Ailish and translates them*

"Ok let's get out of here" *walks out of room and continues down hall to the next door but sees some stairs and rushes over to them* "Hey Halo get over here"

I looked up the house. apparently some of the warriors were here, and as one of them, i was supposed to join up. As if! I work on my own, and if I have to save the world, i do that on my own. I sighed and knocked on the door.

ooc: Sorry I haven't been around, my internet was busted yesterday.

"Okay, whoever is with me, get over here!"

"We need to head out and buy some Potions, and things like that... So follow me."

I heard this guy shouting. I walked over to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, do you be a light warrior guy? 'cos I need to find them"

"Ah... Yes. I am one of these select fighters." I tell Lin. "Oh, and excuse me warriors. I forgot to introduce myself. I am Genji, Flame bearing Samurai of the East. I welcome you all."


"So, Lin. You gonna come with me? Anyone else who's gonna come better do it now!" I shout, as I unsheath my katana.

Lin

"Hey, i'm Lin." I sat down on the ground, and said "I don't understand why we have to do this teamwork crap. I could save the world twice on my own."

"The prophecy states that we must be together, as brothers and sisters on our journey. If not, we shall fail in our mission. I will read you the prophecy."

"I know, but... in a team, people let you down and mess things up. It's safer alone," I said dully.

*walks quickly over to Alisha and start to walk down the stairs, i take a knife out of my pocket and cock my arm, ready to throw if i need to*

I stood from where I was sitting and walked to the door.

"let's go downstairs ready" *my heartbeat quickens as i draw my staff ready to cast spells at anything that attacks*

*i walk down the stairs, they seem to go down a very long way, at the bottwm is another wooden door, i push it open and look around. in the room are paintings that are hanging on the walls, he recognises each one, they are portraits of the people he left in the other room, and there is one for him and Ailisha*

'they are pictures of us...why would there be pictures of us down here?'

*he walks over to his own, there is a shelf underneath it with a dagger on it. he has never seen the material that it is made of before, he picks it up*

I opened the door and followed were Halo and Ailish wnet.

*hears a noise and whispers to Ailisha*

'get in the corner, and be ready to use your magic at whatever comes down here'

*stands behind the door*

"Ready? Lets go!" I dash out the door, holding my katana at my side. "C'mon slowpokes! Theres nothin thats gonna hurt us over there! Catch up!" I screamed, as I ran down the dirt road. My hakama pants flowed in the wind, but not totally since the armor plating on top of it.

I sigh, having watched the whole exchange with great interest. I am decidedly unimpressed.

"Very well, samurai of fire," I murmur. "Let us see if you are worthy of my services."

Summoning the power of the wind, I dash forward, using the air around me to levitate me into the air and propel me further forward.

I'll be following Genji for the duration of this, I'm going out and won't be back for several hours.

*I do as Halo says and duck in the corner I see one of the warriors from upstairs come down*

Lin

I ran after Genji. This light warrior business seemed pointless, but I guess I'll hang around with him a little longer.

i walk in the room. "Don't worry... I'm not here to harm anyone." I said.

Lin

"Hey, you a light warrior guy? if you aren't, I'll definately beat you up. If you are, I might beat you up anyway. I need practice."

Kuroshima
I walked past them and into the next room.

Lin

"Hey! Don't Run Away!"

i wasn't listening at this point... I was too curious about this place.

*sigh* Alright, I'll slow down. But hurry up! We need to get to Karanomi Town to find out what we're to do...

I wlaked down the hallway and reached anothe rdoor. "Hmmm..."

I sit down and wait. "I'll sit here and practice conjuring psi-spheres... *starts making psi-balls*

ME: I am outside, waiting for you guys.

It seems like all of you are inside, besides maybe Lin. You are supposed to follow me and we then head to Karanomi Town to find out how we should go about defeating this evil.

So me and Lin are outside, and the rest are inside. Lets take it from here.

Oh yeah, Kuroshima, the house isn't supposed to really be dangerous or like a dungeon.. You just walk downstairs and theres people and a door.. xD

I opened the door and found that i was outside.

I sigh in boredom and get up. "Well, this sure is fun, but I think I'll step outside." I say sarcasctically as I go for the door, open it, and go outside to see some of the others.

i look at Heero as he comes out then turn back and look around.

"We're going to depart. Any others can catch up with us. Any of you left behind, you may meet us at Karanomi. We will wait for you there. Let's go." I said. As I walked down the dirt path.

I follow Genji down the path. I looked around.

After coming across a field, I stop. "I sense a prescence..." I unsheathed my blade, fire spitting from the scabbard. "Be on your guard!" I shouted to Kuroshima. About 3 Oni Demons came rushing from the fields at us. "Rrrrya!"I shouted, as I brought my sword down upon one. It flew to the ground, ablaze. "Don't worry... their all weak!" I said, as I brought my sword back...

I drew one of my katanas and rushed at a demon, I slashed him in half.

"I got the last one!" I jumped up in the air and threw shurikens at the last Oni, knocking him down. I then landed on him with my blade stuck into his lifeless corpse.

Kuroshima
I sheathed my balde then nodded.

*sheathes blade* "Let us continue." I said, As I walked down the path.

Kuroshima
I nodded then followed him again.

We kept on walking, and arrived at Karanomi. "This is where we stay until the others come. You may go buy new armor and items and such here. I am going into that old, rundown house." *dashes into the house and locks the door*

I watched him run and then I walked to the house and knocked on the door.

I'm busy erm... studying... I shouted.

Kuroshima
I looked over and saw an open window. I crawled through the window and looked around.

*shocked* Ge.. get out! I has demon horns growing from my head and fangs. "You... you're not supposed to see this!" I said, running away into the dark.

Kuroshima
I grunted."Don't be ashamed..." I looked to where he was.

"This... is what happens when I kill too much..." I murmered... "Years ago... I was attacked by Jinshimatsu... the evil we must defeat. He casted a spell on me, giving me this... That is why I have risen to fight him..."

Kuroshima
I draw Kuno. "Hold this for a minute.." I tossed it to him.

I catch the sword. "Alright.."

I fall to my knees and grabbed my chest. "Unnnggghhh.." I opened my eyes and they were blood red.

"Whats happening??!"

Kuroshima
"Unnngggh.... you'll see..." My spine started to grow into spikes along my back.

"It seems.. that you have a dark gift as well... You see, this is not all that has been bestowed upon me. Watch..." I began to grow demon wings and i grew white, long, spikey hair which reached down to my legs. "I have been acursed with demon attributes..." I sighed.

"So have I..." my fingernails start to grow into long claws. "that sword... keeps me from this.."

short black mage *Wait UP!* throws lightning bolt to warn other of arrival. slows down all out of breath. *there i am*

"Jenn is here..." I said.

Kuroshima
my skin turns pitch balck. "Who is jenn?" Horns started to pop out from my forehead.

*climbs through window looking at this horrible formation of new accantenses* "what is ... going on?!"

"That, is Jenn." I said.

I turned around and looked at jenn. I grabbed my sword from genji and turned back to normal.

I turned back to normal slowly, but my long spiked hair was still there. "Welcome, Jenn." I said. "I am Genji, the Flame Samurai.

"I am Kuroshima... A Samurai from the west."

*protected from the evil formation* "please.. i must know how or what is going on!" *takes morphing stick and turns into club* *starts hitting groung in fusstration*

"Nothing.. Nothings going on. Settle down." I said.

Kuroshima
I looked around and saaw a chair. i sta down in the chair. "It's alright."

"may i, may i join your quest and hello, i am not asking i an demanding!" *holds club like a black mage would* *kneeling to genji but not bowing8

"Yes, you may. Now please, settle down. Put that weapon away and sit." I said, as I sat on the floor cross legged. I closed my eyes.

I laughd at Jenn. "He's not a King."

Heero Yuy

I reach the town and find that only one house has a light lit. I go over and knock on the door. "I'm here...open up..."

I kick down the door. "COME IN!!!" I bellowed.

"It is customaty for me to quickly kneel to aqantences" *stands and puts morphing stick away* "I am new at what i do and now i must train"

I walk upstairs and find an empty room.

OOC: Later guys.

The door falls just a few inches away from my feet. I look down at it and then straight inside. "Whatever..." I walk in and then pick up the door behind me. "You know? It seems you're kinda cranky right now so I think I'll leave you down here." I say apathetically. "Goodnight." I then say with a warmer, friendlier tone. I wlak upstairs, find an empty room, and lay down.

I chuckle. "Its funny... We've all been together for but a day and we all know each other like siblings... this is destinies doing." I said. I got up and walked outside. It was raining. "... I'm going for a walk."

I threw my weapons on the bed. "Hmm..." I started to change again.

*Playing with lightning like and idiot slowly following behind* "wait!, i found something! never mind its just a rusty sword" i said in master like voice

I go outside. "....." I sigh. I put my hands in my sleeves and walk on the wet ground, looking down.

*following further behing Genji shivering inside my heavy clothing because i hate the rain* "...." very silently "im still shy.." murmering to myself..

"Here..." I said. I handed Jenn my cloak. "That should keep you warm." I said. I walked on, down the dirt road.

I was a fully changed now. "Hmm..." I jumper through the window.

OOC: Ima take a break from RPing for a lil.

I sit down... In the rain. "....." I fall asleep.

I look around and see Genji and Jenn. I walk over to them.

Note to the GM: It's your job to set the progression of the RP, so you should be better at giving out the setting and what's going on. What happened in the mansion is a perfect example of this, you need to be sure to see to it that all players have a good idea of what is going on, which can mean fairly lengthy descriptions on your part so that we know how to respond.

I watch my "comrades", thoroughly unimpressed. Knowing that several hold demon seed within them does not do much to sway my opinion to the positive either.

"Pah," I say, carefully observing from the roof of an old building. "Useless. No discipline, no etiquette."

Leaning back, I continue to observe them.

"Well, I suppose they can be of some use. Perhaps I may lend my swords to them. After all, it is destiny, as they say."

Me, Jenn, and Kuroshima went to another town. I went into an old house, and I revealed my demonic secret, as well as Kuroshima. Jenn joins, and runs to the town, and joins us. It starts raining, and I go out for a walk alone, and Jenn follows. Kuroshima seems to be following as well. I fell asleep in the rain, and the rest of you are sleeping I believe.

I found myself in an unfamilier town. Why was I following those gys anyway? And it was raining. Rain was my leats favourite weather. "Hey Genji? if your there, get the hell out here!"

"Because we share the dark arts... now lets go." I said. I walked down the road, it was still raining.

"Its twas nat a choice for me i was born into evil father demans i must remain evil, although i enjoy the weapons, i still do not enjoy the feeling..." *walking along with Genji* "why must i listen to my evil father?" "he does not deserve to own me.." *grasping fists because angry*

"Then kill him. He shouldn't own you, so show him your power" I murmered.
