Cardcaptors [the next generation] rp

Its been two years since card captor Sakura sealed away the power of the mystical clow cards away in the book in which Clow Reed inprisoned many years past.
But now the cards have been released yet again...and new captors must rise to once again capture the magic of the cards...

I sat staring into space, thinking about my latest card-capturing. My staff and my cardcaptor outfit was sitting safe in my bag incase of emergency, and I was all set to go.

OOC: I'm gonna start out as a pre captor :) my girl'll become a captor as soon as she obtains her pendant ^_^

Black Angel: Can Yumi and Kioko be friends? =)

"Another hard day in school..." Yumi said quietly to herself while walking down the narrow lane listening to her ipod.

It was a hot and sunny day in Tokyo, Yumi had to take to the measures of taking out her top button, rolling her sleeves up and loosening her shirt while in school which nearly ended her up in a detention.

Time seems to go by so slowly in summer... the school girl thought to herself continueing down the street.

Kioko

"Ah!!! I'm late! Bye, mom! Dad! Love ya!" I ran down the street, I knew I was gonna be late, no matter what.

Yumi noticed an antique shop on the corner of the street, it looked as if it was vacant and had strange books and necklaces on show in the window...

"Maybe I could buy some jewlery or something..." Yumi said quietly to herself walking slowly through the old wooden door. "...wow..." she said again.

There was a beautiful pendant in the shape of a key embroided with saphires made to look like water droplets. The price tag said 30 yen.

"Thats a good price!" Yumi said cheerfully taking out some money from her back-pack and lifting the pendant off its stand.

Just then a little old man in a dirty grey kimono hobbled into the room looking at Yumi.

"May I help you miss...?" The man asked quietly.
"I would like to buy this necklace, sir" Yumi replied.
"Aaaaah...and a very nice necklace it is...that will be 30 yen..." He said opening the till.
"Here you go" Yumi handed him the money and walked out.

"Thank you sir!" She called back to him.

Kioko

I turned around the corner, and saw an antique shop and Yumi walking out.

"Yumi!!!" I called, running to her.

Kuroshima
As I wlak down the street on my way to school I see to gils talking but just brush past them.

Elsie

I stared out of the window, not really thinking about anything. I looked at the antique shop, and saw two girls. "Huh." I said under my breath, and continued staring at them.

Yumi looked up to see Kioko running up to her. She smiled cheerfully and ran up to meet her.

"Hey Kioko!" Yumi replied to her smiling sweetly at her. "Wanna come over for a slumber party tonight? it is the weekend after all!"

Kioko

"..Slumber party?! Alright!!! I'll bring some popcorn and a couple of movies!" I noticed the necklace she had in her hand. "Wooowww...That's really pretty! Where'd you get it?"

Heero Yuy

I was walking through town as usual with my cloak and hood over me. As I was passing by the antique shop, I stopped and stared at the two girls in there. I recognized them from school. I stayed to look at them a bit longer and then left. I've never had any friends. I was the weird one, the one everyone stayed away from. The two cards I've captured so far meant nothing...I needed more.

Yumi looked down to the pendant she held in her hand.

"Oh this thing? I got it in that antique shop over there!" Yumi replied holding up the necklace for Kioko to see. "Hey! why don't I buy you one to symbolise our friendship?! It'll be great!" Yumi said again happily dragging Kioko across the street.

Rin

"Man, school sucks!" I said outloud, kicking a pebble in front of me. My backpack was heavy with several textbooks. In my hand was my bell and my two Clow cards were in my pocket.

It's that antique store... I thought once I saw the old building. There were two girls from school there as well.

"Good morning." I said to them quickly before continuing on my way.

Yumi stopped in her tracks and looked around smiling.

"Morning Rin!" Yumi replied cheerfully and continued casually into the shop with Kioko.

Kioko

"Hey!" I waved.

Edgar
i turn the corner while counting the amount of Yen in my pocket, im about to go in the Antiques shop to buy the pendant i saw that morning. as i looked up i saw 3 students from the school i teach at. I quickly plunge into the nearest building which happens to be a cafw, i order a coffee and sit down.

Kuroshima
I reach the school grounds and wlak into school toward my first class. "Another boring day..." I mumbled.

Heero Yuy

I take a turn down an alleyway and go through there. "Solitude...the only thing I know..." I continue to go through until I hit the other side where another road was at.

Elsie

I continued to stare out of the window. This was hell boring. I saw some more people down there.

Kuroshima
I reached my clasroom and threw my backpack beside my regualr desk then sta down and got ready for class.

Elsie

Maybe I could get out of this lesson. I knew something was up. I didn't even ask to go out, I just picked up my bag and walked out of the classroom, everyone staring at me. I walked down the corridor, and out of school.

Kuroshima
Teacher: "Kuroshima.. HWy were you late again?"
Me: I didn't say anyhting I just ignored him.

OOC: I want to know, is this like friday morning or something? o.O

Heero Yuy

I got to the courtyard and went behind a tree. I pulled down my hood, took off my cloak, stuffed it in my bag, and went inside the school.

OOC: i'm guessing so.
Kuroshima
Teacher: he points at doo. "Go to the principla's office.."
me: I grab my bag and go out inot the hall and then head outside.

Heero Yuy

I get to the second floor and as I walk to class I find Kuroshima coming out and passing me by. I think to myself. *"Late again...oh well..."* I sigh and follow him to the principal's office, my face expressionless.

Kuroshima
I wlak down to the principal's office but make a turn downstairs and outside instead.

Heero Yuy

I shrug and continue to just walk down the halls, waiting for first class to be over.

Kuroshima
i wnet outside and sat under a tree.

(Is it too late to join? And because I have to go in like, 1 minute, what cards aren't taken??)

Elsie

I saw a guy sitting under a tree (kuroshima). I sat down next to him. "Why you here?" I said.

Heero Yuy

I go upstairs, just wondering around now. Class is almost a quarter over. I take another stairway to the third floor and then the rooftop access stairway. I reach the roof and I set my things down. I then go over to the end and stare out over the city, thinking...lonely.

StarlightAngel: Yeah sure you can join :D I don't exactly know which cards are taken sadly =( but if you look over the other players profiles I'm sure you'll find out ^_~

"Huh..?" Yumi looked to the ground to see a strange looking pendant on the ground, it was similar to hers exapt with some other kind of ornament.

"Hey Kioko? Did you drop this?" Yumi asked Kioko jolding up the necjlace for Kioko to see.

Kuroshima
I looked at the girl and then looked away.

Kioko

"...Ummmm..." I looked at the pendant. It seeed familiar, but I never had one like it. "...I think...so..." I said, slowly.

Yumi smiled at Kioko

"Keep it anyway! Nobody's asking for it!" Yumi stated cheerfully "Lets forget about that and go over to my house to prepare for the ultimate slumber party!!!" Yumi said again with delight dragging Kioko by her hand along the street.

Kioko

I put the pendant in my pocket. "Hey, I need to go grab a few things before we can have the Ultimate Slumber Party! We can have a slumber party without my mega-super soft pillows, right?" I winked at her.

Lin

"Wooo, not much of a talker. Ok, new question: you bunking or you have some 'genuine' reason?" I grinned and leaned back more.

Kuroshima
I ignored what she was saying and closed my eyes.

"Oh my god yeah!" Yumi replied happily "Lets get the supplies!" she added running down the street.

Yumi loved having slumber parties with her best friend Kioko, thats why she was so excited to be having this one.

Kioko

We arrived at my house and we both burst through the door. "Ok...Shhh...My little brother is sleeping upstairs, so we have to be quiet..."

Rin

I kept walking past the antique store, the moon on bell was glowing faintly. Could there be a Clow Card...?

I lifted my hand up and rang the bell softly, a faint white light drifted from the moon and spread into an alley. I put down the bell and ran down it quickly.

"It has to be here somewhere." My legs and feet were suddenly wrapped up in shadows. I pulled my arms but it was impossible to move them. "Oh no, I can't break free!"

"ok...!" Yumi whispered while creeping into the kitchen with Kioko. "Hey! why don't we have it at my house this time!" Yumi stated clapping her hands together quietly.

Yumi crept over to the cupboard and opened it up trying hard to avoid to terrible creaking noise the door made everytime it opened.

"Hey Kioko! why don't we bring these!" Yumi held up a jumbo bag of marshmallows and a tin of instant cocoa.

Kioko

I came down the stairs with 2 large, overstuffed pillows in my arms. I nodded. "Yeah, OK, let's go." I whispered and quickly wrote on a post-it note and put it on the table.

Elsie

"I'm gonna assume you skived, 'cos that what I did." I closed my eyes also.

Yumi nodded and stuffed the two objects under her arm and ran ou the door with Kioko.

"Hey Kioko? do you think your mom'll mind us taking this stuff from the kitchen?" Yumi asked. "Never mind she won't care" She added.

"Ok we're here!" Yumi said when they arrived at the front door of her house. "Lets get upstairs!"

"Oi!" I shouted at the boy on the roof as well. He'd gotten all the way up without noticing me at all. Which wasn't a surprise; I was used to not being noticed. I was a master at keeping my head down so that I was never noticed.

Which, of course, helped out loads when I was pranking someone.

"Hey! What's up?" I asked with the energy of an annoying 8 year old. "Aren't you like, a year above me?" I ask. I'd seen the guy before, but never in my class. He also looked older than me, which was a good indication that he was a year older than me.

Heero Yuy

I didn't turn around to meet her eyes. I just stood ther with my arms on the fence guard, looking over the city. My face was expressionless and empty. I was bit surprised though that she even said something to me. No one talks to me...ever. "Why...are you talking to me?"

"Hey mom!" Yumi shouted as she ran up the stairs. "Come on Kioko! I've got some new movies we can watch!" she added while entering her room quickly.

seeing the children walk away from the store, i left my coffee and had entered the store, the man looked at me and told me the pendant in which i was looking for had been purchased by a girl only a few minutes ago. 'i need to get that pendant' i thought to myself. 'it must have been the girls who i saw from the cafe, they were in the school in which i taught at, getting the pendant back shouldn be too hard.' as i thought of the school i lrealised that i was late for one of my classes, i headed back at a slight jog.

"Umm... 'cause I can?" I say. "And 'cause I'm bored. Nothing much to do 'cept study, which I can do fine enough without thanks muchly." I poke him on the shoulder. "How come you're all gloomy? You're no fun." I poke him again.

Heero Yuy

"Heh, am I? I'm sure you know nothing about me if you're talking to me..." I say emotionless as I stand there still, not moving or looking at her.

"Do I have to know about you to bother- er... talk to you?" I ask, poking him over and over with increasing force. "You're kinda weird, y'know? And quiet. How are you so quiet? I couldn't shut up to save my life. Maybe that's why I always get stuck holding buckets of water outside of class. Then again, maybe it's just 'cause I'm a bad student." I say, still poking him.

Heero Yuy

"Weird...heh, people have been calling me that my whole life. I'm quiet because there is nothing to say. All I can do is stand there and take the insults and the hits. But I'll get them back...they'll see what hapens when you mess with those who don't deserve it..." I start to say.

"Who says I mess with people whodon't deserve it? I mess with anyone and everyone." I grin maliciously. "And I have great ways of going about it, too. So what if someone pranks me or uses me as the subject of a stupid joke? By the next day, they'll be wishing to whatever god they believe in that they didn't." I stretch, crossing my arms behind my head.

Heero Yuy

I ignore what he said. "I still don't understand why you're talking to me..." I sigh deeply. "But I guess it doesn't matter...not like anyone is going to talk to me anyways..."

"I'm talkin' to ya 'cause I'm bored! Don't you ever listen?" I ask, giving him a small, powerless shove. "Well, anyway, I think class is startin' so I'd best go." I say with a shrug, turning and going back down the stairs to my class. "I wonder if any more of those cards have turned up yet?" I murmur to myself on the way. "Maybe I'll find s'more useful ones..."

Heero Yuy

"First class has already started..." I say as she goes down the stairs. "...your cards will not be in your hands for long..." I add in an inaudible tone to myself.

Yumi burst into her room and dumped a bag of candy and fizzy drinks onto the carpet.

"This is gonna be he best yet!" Yumi grabbing some sleeping bags from the closet.

Suddenly the necklace Yumi had in her pocket began to glow in a strange blue light. "What the-?"

Kioko

I saw Yumi's pendant glowing. I took out my pendant, but mine glowed a pale red. "...Strange...?"

The pendant rose up into the air and stopped in front of Yumi.

"Huh...?" Yumi said quietly.

Suddenly a bright light blocked her from Kioko and then reapeared wearing her captor outfit.

"Nice!" Yumi stated looking startlied while checking out her new outfit.

OOC: Have you been reading our OOCs GM zefie? I think our questions need answering...

I walked into the room smiling, waving at a few others who I got along with well enough. Sitting in my desk, I waited as the teacher came in and began to do his job: teaching. Soon, my head was on the desk and I was staring blankly up at the board in boredom. With a yawn, I surreptitiously unclipped the small key from my necklace and murmured the spell under my breath.

I felt it grow into a staff in my hand.

Taking a card from my pocket, I sat up and looked to see which one it was.

The Mist

My eyes automatically locked onto my scrawled name on the card. Smirking, I chanted the spell softly.

"Rot the desk's leg, 'til it collapses." I told the card. I felt it vanish from between my fingers and returned my staff to key form, clipping it back onto the necklace. In seconds, I snapped my head up, startled at the loud crash. The card returned to my hand and I slipped it into my pocket as I stood to help the teacher with picking up all the books and papers that had fallen off the desk after the leg had snapped off. Looks like class will be postponed...

OOC: I'm in after school time =)

Yumi then noticed a flash of blue light floating down and into the palm of her hand. It then changed into the water staff

the water staff had now been summoned

Yumi screamed and fell onto the floor. "W-w-wjat is this...?" she stuttered while trying to regain her balance.

OOC: Alright, but I think we'll need to straighten the time out sooner or later.

Heero Yuy

The bell rang, so I sighed and picked up my things. I went down the stairs to the crowded hallways and I made it into my math class. I sat in the back as usual, and also as usual there were students looking back at me, laughing at me, and most likely talking about me...I ignored it.

Kuroshima
I stood as the bell rung. "Hmmm..." I start to head home.

Edgar
i lean back in my chair and look out the window. my class is empty now, no one minds me staying here after hours, which i often do. I walk over to the safe, i keep in one corner of the class, turned the dial in order of the combination, a soft click told me that i hadn forgoten it. i tell everyone it is full of exam papers and other teaching materials, that a student would be in detention for if they were caught possessing. I look at my dagger and my two remaining cards lying in the safe. I take the dagger and close the door. Although this dagger and helped me catch many a clow card, it has very little power now and needed to be revived. i concealed the small dagger in my pocket and went on my way. i got the adresses of both the girls from the admintrative office. one way or another, i needed that pendant...my dagger would soon be back to its full potential

I stared out the window as the teacher taught. It was algebra so it didn't matter. 'And now we take the square root of 36 and it comes out to be 6 of course, but then you must square both sides to get rid of the root on the other side and..." He trails off as he sees me not paying attention. 'Mr. Yuy...care to tell the class how to make a line equation in a quadratic?' I sigh and looked over at the teacher...

"What is this?!" Yumi sai falling back onto her bed in shock. She looked at Kioko.

OOC: I know but Zefie and BA are in after school time and some others are too. I'm in school time i just don't like to be at school.

I reached my house and opened the door. "Same old home...." I mumbled.

"First what you must do is arrange them in order of powers. Next, if there is a negative infront of the x, you might want to factor it out. Then what you do is complete the square on the a and the b of the line equation and then what you get should be either subtracted or added into the quantity and the c of the equation. This is generally how you make a quadratic." The teacher's mouth dropped.

I walked to my room and got a box out from underneath my bed. "Come on out snow... and twin..." They appeared infront of me and immediatly it began to grow cooler. "I think I'll name you three..."

"...I...don't..." I was blinded and tooken in by a black light.

i looked at Snow. "You will be named... Kura..." I looked at twins. "You two will be... Chibi and Asher..."

My stomach grumbled so i went down and got food for me and a alot extra just incase.

I reached up stairs and see my sword's blade start to glow red. "Something's happening..."

"What the hell is this?!" Yumi shouted trying to regain her balance. "Wait a minute..." Yumi said quietly while turning around.

Something like water could be heard outside.

"Strange...its not raining..." Yumi said to Kioko. "Maybe we should go down the the river to check it out..." Yumi stated to Kioko while climbing out of her window and down into the garden.

"...Um...OK..." I followed Yumi out of the house.

Class had ended and it was time for lunch. I went outside to see everyone around. All avoided me. I sighed and sat underneath a tree. As students passed by they gigled and whispered. Some threw things at me while other insulted me from afar. This was a typical day.

"Konnichiwa, Gloomy-kun!" I said cheerily, plopping down next to him. "I see you're very popular with everyone else!" I said, dodging a piece of trash aimed at Heero. I put my bento lunch on the ground, muttering "Itadekimasu," before I opened it and began eating. "So is this what you do every day?" I asked between mouthfuls of rice.

Kuroshima
"Kura, Asher and Chibi... yuor coming to school with me.... there's something I shou.... must do.."
Kura, Asher, Chibi: They returned back to theier cards.
Me: I smiled, grabbed my sheath, strapped it onto my back and sheathed my sword. "Time to see what they'll do..." I walked out of my house and headed for the school.

Heero Yuy

"Yes...told you..." I said bluntly. I stared off into the sky and sigheda bit. "Why are you here?"

Kuroshima
I reached the school. "It's lunch time.." I mumbled so no-one heard it, I drew my sword and pointed it at a kid's throat.

"Because you are my new bother target. For the next week or so, you're the one I bug. Aren't you lucky?" I say, finishing up my meal.

i walk up to the house of miss Kiokio Saito and knock the door. the parents are surprised to see me, but once i tell them that i am her teacher and need to get in touch with her about some important educational matters that could affect her grade, they were tripping over themselves to tell me that she was at miss Tatsuyo Yumiko house for the night. they even gave me the house telephone number.

I then sheath my sword again and walk into the schhol.

"...whatever..." I continue to stare off.

Kuroshima
I reached the principal's office and kicked open the door. "Hello sir." I grinned evilly.

"What is happening...?" Yumi said as they ran towards the river bank.

A strange character rose from the surface of the water, she looked like a mermaid with long hair and pointed ears.

"I think know what to do!" Yumi shouted running towards it. "It has all just come to me..." she said again.

Yumi jumped swiftly into the air and swung the beek like point of her wand at the creature. It struck the watery and an orb of light floated down to Yumi. Slowly it turned into a card with an image of the watery.

"my first clow card..." she said holding the card in the palm of her hand.

I began poking him again. "I'm sure there's a word for people like you..." I say thoughtfully. "What was it? Not anti-social.... ah, right! Emo!" I say brightly. "Yeah, that's the word!" I laugh a little.

Suddenly, I feel a wave of power roll over me. A card?! I automatically jump to my feet, eyes scanning for any sort of disturbance.

Heero Yuy

"You wish. Don't you know classifications are overrated." I stood up and started to walk off. "Well whatever. I have something to do."

"Huh?" I turn back to see him walk off. "Um... sure." I turn and run back to my classroom to grab my stuff, before I leave the school through the office with the excuse of remembering an appointment I had with the dentist. Then, I take off towards the source of power.

My search brings me quickly to a shop district. I scan the street, feeling for the place where the power is coming from. My senses lead me to a small used book store.

I walk into the place, looking around curiously. Is it hidden as a book, I wonder?

Heero Yuy

I get into an alleyway and I put on my cloak, putting up the hood over my head to hide my face. I step out into the street and follow my sense to a card that had recently been picked up.

I place a hand on the bookshelves and slowly feel my way around the shop, turning in the direction of the energy flow wherever I feel it strongest. I end up with my hand on a tall, thin book. "Huh?" I pull it out carefully. The cover has no title at all, but instead a strange design. I open the book and flip through it to the last written page, where it talks about writing the rest of the story. The remaining pages, I find, are all blank. "You write the rest of the story?" I say, disappointed. "What good does that do?" I carefully put it back on the shelf, cover facing out to me with the back leaned against other books. Checking to make sure no one's around, I pull my key from my necklace and chant the spell.

The key grows into a staff as soon as I finish. Grabbing it out of the air, I begin chanting the capturing spell, finishing it by tapping the book with my staff. The book suddenly becomes strings of colored wind, all being sucked into a glowing card shape. Once the book has completely vanished, the glowing stops and the newly formed card flies into my outstretched hand. I glance at it as my staff shrinks back into a key. "The Create, huh? Interesting." I say, though not really meaning it. Tucking the card in my pocket and clipping the key back onto the necklace, I leave the store and head back home. The school thinks I'm at the dentist, so it wouldn't make any sense to go back. Not that I wanted to anyway.

Heero Yuy

I went by the street and found myself in front of a used book store. I looked inside to see the girl who always bugs me inside. She had a card in her hand. I sigh and stand there. "Great...she has it..."

I look up and to my surprise, I see that one kid I kept bugging. Suddenly aware that I hadn't written my name on the card, I quickly take out my pen and scribble my name on it before I put both away. "Hello!" I say, cheerily walking out of the shop. "Fancy meeting you here! I mean, what are the chances we'd both end up in the same place when we're supposed to be at school!" I say brightly.

He must've sensed a card, too. Looks like there's more than meets the eye about him...

Heero Yuy

I was surprised a bit that she recognized me under my cloak and hood. Still, my face didn't change, it was expressionless and my voice was serious. "That card won't be in your hands for long..." I start to walk away down the street.

"Really? I'd like to see you try getting it to work for you, now that my NAME is on it!" I shout to him. So he did know about them. Oh well. It wasn't as though he could do anything. The cards only went with those who truely owned them. Moreso if the owner had written their name on it. Something I'd learned when my little brother had tried to steal my arrow card because it looked cool. The card had flown back to me and I had had to convince him that it was simply the wind that blew the card from his hands.

I still don't think he believed it, but at least he hasn't told anyone. Or tried again, for that matter.

Sighing, I shake my head to clear it of memories and thoughts, and head home.

Heero Yuy

I grin as I go down the street. "She has no idea of what's going to happen..." Under my cloak I set my hand on the hilt of my concealed sword.

I walk into the gravel driveway, picking up stones as I go. Quickly using the power of the Arrow while no one is looking, I climb up my tree and begin chucking rocks at various things; people, birds, squirells, cats, and the occasional insect. I smirk, loving my heightened accuracy. "Now if only I had a real bow." I say to myself, throwing one at a neighbor's cat that was about to relieve itself in our yard.

Heero Yuy

I go back into an alleyway, take off my cloak, and head back to school. There was nothing else to do.

Kuroshima
'What.... What are you doing here?' The principal said. I drew my sword and poitned it at him. "I feel like having some fun ok?" I pull Kura out from my pocket. "Come on out." I said and Kura appeared infront of me. "Get out.." I said to the principal. The princiapl ran out and puled his secretary along with him. "Make a wall of ice where the door was..." I said to Kura and she makes an ice door.

"I think its time we went back to my place don't ya think Kioko?" Yumi said smiling while slipping the card into her pocket.

Kioko

"...Wait..." I hair on the back of my neck stood on end. I saw a simple glow from a dark cloud that was headed out way. I raised my scythe to the cloud and it started to glow a bright red. The beam shot to the cloud and a single rain drop fell, landed into my hand, and became a card.
"...The Rain..." I whispered.

Kuroshima
I looked around the office and found what i was looking for. "Permanent records...." I mumbled then started to search through the records to find mine.

Yumi looked at Kioko with a blank face and then looked at the card she held in her hand.

"We must've been chosen for this job..." Yumi said looking at her staff with a thoughtful look. "I think we should get back to my place before my Mom goes all hakaloogi on us!" she said again laughing while walking up the hill.

OOC: I hid them extra carefully this year.

I get onto the school grounds and make it into class on time. I sit down and listne to the teacher's lecture although I wasn't paying attention.

"Hmmmm..." I lay back in the tree. "Y'know... maybe I should just go back... I mean, it's kinda boring here..." I think about it for about a second before snorting. "What the heck'm I talkin' about? Who'd wanna go to school?" Somewhat disgusted at myself for even considering the idea, but still mostly bored, I slide off my place in the tree and leave, wandering around town. "Maybe another card will make it's appearance?" I suggest to myself quietly.

Kuroshima
I grabbed my record, took out a lighter and started burning it.

Yumi and Kioko arrived back at the house and climbed up the creeper wall and back into the room.

"Phewee! that was tiring! remind me never to run all the way down to the river ever again!"
