[RP] Fear

Plot

Basically, we've got thi world. Everything was fine, 'till this new king came to the throne. He created a religion, called 'The One True Faith'. Yes, pretty unoriginal name, but the effect work. Basically, the teachings say that you must worship 'The Ultimate Lord', some kinda ultimate mega-being, aka a total made up person. But, apparently, the new King, he is the Ultimate Lord's Earthly form, so what he says, goes. And what he says, is that a race called the Mystica, must be exterminated. The Mystica are people who can use magic (obviously), and, more paticurlarly, the 6 elements (Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, and Dark). I will explain more about them later. Anyway, the King passsed a law saying the existance of a Mystica is illegal, and they all must be put to death, with or without trial. The King also encourages the public torture, rape, abuse and humiliation of Mystica as well. Right now, the largest amount of Mystica is in the abandoned area of the Capital, 'City of the Divine Faith'. But this week, it is 'Death to all Mystica' week. Therefore, Everyone (I mean EVERYONE) Must participate in a seek and destroy of all Mystica.

That's the plot folks.

Each person has their personal element, and their eye colour shows that.

Most Mystica, however, have less-than-good control of their abilities. When an untrained Mystica get's very emotional, it causes them to 'Trance' and basically go completely nuts with their abilities. But with the right training, a Mystica can master their abilities, and become less of a threat. And, with even more training, they can master other elements too. Also, Mystica have superhuman strength, speed and can use telepathy. But however, most of them aren't very good at it.

Medieval-ish city, empty quarter. (it's mostly abandoned buildings). Dusk.

Appearance: shoulder length blond hair, five foot high, small frame. Wears long sleeve black top wwith orange polo shirt over it, black baggy shorts cut below the knee, brown boots.
History: Live in this city forever, parents died 2 years ago, killed by fanatics. Has made friends with a lot of Mysticas, lives at The Base, is a pickpocket.
Personality: Very emotional, has dramatic mood swings, and because of that, and her uncontrollable power, she is dangerous to be around.
Element*: Light
Skill Level*: Very Bad. Like her mood, her powers can switch from haywire to crapity crap within seconds.
Weapon: None.

PPPS: The Base is in the empty quarter, where most of the Mysticas live together.

Name: Heero Yuy
Age: 18
Appearance: Short silvery white hair, yellow eyes, average sized muscles(or so it seems), white long sleeve buttoned shirt (open) white undershirt, white pants, necklace with a red cross
History: A Mystica growing to be at peace with humans, is now turned upside down as the new King declared this decree of the destruction of his race. Before all this, he lived humbly in a village. He learned of the ways he should live his life, and has very unique skills. Besides having his hereditary attributes, he has become handy with a sword. Knowing of his people, he trains in his magic seldomly as to not go out of control. Little by little, day by day, he grows stronger in the will to use it. Someday, he'll have complete control and then he will save his people.
Personality: Very cheery and friendly at most times, but when it comes to business and other topics, he's very serious.
Element*: Light
Skill Level*: Has about 50% control over them. Half of the time, it doesn't work, but the other half it does. Still has outbursts and losess control at times, but tries to fight that as much as possible.
Weapon: Katana on right hip, nodachi on back.

Name: Kuroshima Yukosa
Age: 18
Appearance: Shaggy blue hair, "6'6 250 lbs. Silver eyes.
History: His father trained him as a swordsman till he was 10 and then left him to defend himself. He remains a neutral human till he decides where to go.
Personality: Most likes to stay alone but will come out and meet people occasionally.

Weapon: a long sword.(located on back) two katanas. (One on left hip and other right hip.)

OOC: Basically, skill level is just how much control they have over their powers. every Mystica has unlimited power, but It all depends how much they can control it. Like my character has unpredictable power, based solely off her mood.

PS: When a Mystica 'Trances' they keep on blasting until they pass out. It's not like them running ouut of energy, more like they over exert themselves and the body can't take it. But sometimes, they lose so much control that they keep blasting until they burn out and die.

Appearance: Long silver hair,red eyes,averagely muscular,6'2 190 lbs.Wears a black trenchcoat,black undershirt,black trousers,black shoes and a red belt where the buckle has the kanji word 'yami no ka' or 'dark fire'.
History: A fire mystica that lives in an abandoned building alone.he loves freedom and does whatever he wants,wherever he wants,whenever he wants and hates to be ordered around.Has a severe cold lately.
Personality: Most likes to stay alone but will come out and meet people occasionally.
Element*:Fire
Skill Level*:Around full control when he is in optimum condition.Now he has a cold,he can't control it a bit.Everytime he sneezes,he breaths out huge balls of fire that can vaporise a diamond.And when he is angry he grabs hold of anybody in the vincinity and burns them to a crisp.But he can usually keep his head.
Weapon: A 5'6 long katana called Shinigami(soul reaper) and a 4'1 long all-back wakisashi called Kurozora(black sky).

(I like all element, that's why I always be a Black Mage in RP so when it comes to dividing elements, I feel sad....:( ) Can you give me Ice and Lightning? history: he doesn't remember most of it, but he has been rised by a woman called fara and she was a very evil and mean with him. but all he knows is that he is ordered to kill mysticas, but deep inside he doesn't believe in it.
personality: he is quite and shy.. not talkative and very calm. but when dengar come he turns to a tiger (just a meaning ^^)

OOC: Ever heard of Religious Fanatics?

Within the spectrum of adherence to a particular belief system, religious fanaticism is the most extreme form of religious fundamentalism, which typically takes on violent and potentially deadly dimensions. All religions may include fanatic fringes. Who are religious fanatics is naturally a very controversial issue. Basically those are the guys in this rp who go around burning mysticas.

I ran through the deserted streets. I had a leather bag slung over my shoulder, and it was full of fruit and meat and food in general. I had just nicked it from the market while they were clearing up. I slipped down an alley, and sat down on a barrel. I got an apple out of my bag, and started munching on it. I was hungry. Yeah, I know I shoud get back to Base, but I was feeling happy, and free, and I dun want to ruin it by going home.

OCC: Ok, here I go too, if you don't mind ^^

OWEN

I was walking the dirty streets trying to find a good way to sneak into the Mysticas' base, I have orders from my king for that, but for now I was working alone I wanted more than anything to know what they were doing inside this building? how they were living alone like this?. I walked alittle more like a shadow and I saw one of them slip and set on the pavement, she pulled something out and started to eat it, I watched her closly to know what she was up to? and how she behaives. that was interesting.

I finished my apple, and threw it in one of the old barrels. I stood up, and looked up at the sky. Boy, was it that late? I better get back, cos this week all mystica are the rabbits, and the normal people are the foxes. I shook out my hair, and walked out of the alley. And standing there was a normal person. "Crap." I said, but I didn't move. I was too frickin' scared.

OCC: one quistion, do they look like humans or what?

OWEN

I don't know, did she see me, maybe they have speacial abilities that they can see in the dark, I pull myself behind the wall hoping that she didn't see me. my heart was beating fast.. and I didn't know why?

OOC: They look human, except for their eyes, which are the colour corrseponding to their natural element. (see the section on mystica in the intro)

I started breathing very fast. I have never let any human see me, not since my parents were killed. But now... I've blown my cover. But i can't run. It's like... there's another side of me. One side says to run, but the other side... it says I should kill the human, revenge for my parents. "Sh*t" I said, and then fell to my knees. I need to control myself, but I can't. I never can.

OCC: it is ok, I was just making sure, thanks ^^.

OWEN

I saw her falling to her knees, 'great this is my chance' I think and then uncover my self and start to walk to her pretending that I didn't recognise her for what she was I said slowly "you need help lady?", she looked scared, but also angry.

Lin

I looked up at him, and said, in a voice unlike my own "The likes of you, who killed my mother and father, shall not escape justice, and shall forever burn in hell, where they belong!" And I raised my arms above my head, and created a ball of light, and threw it at the man.

OCC: wow started so evil.... I can play dirty too **

OWEN

I was surprised by her movement that I didn't know what was happening, but I ran to the side and managed to dodge the lightening except my arm it got part of it and it was hurting like hell. but I didn't rise my weapon, she was a girl not a man... and deep inside I pitied her.

Lin

I staggered up, and said, again in that strange voice "Cowards like you who killed my parents, without a drop of pity, deserve no less than death and damnation in the deepest pits of hell!" and again I launched a sphere of light at him. I hated my personality. yeah, I said it was mood swings, but this was a bloody multi-personality disorder!

OWEN

she was angry and now I know why, my kind has killed her parents, but I wont fight her, I would be a coard if I killed a little girl like her theres no houner in that "please stop" I yelled and dodged another lightening , she was so strong for her age.
"stop please, I don't want to hurt you".

Lin

What happened next is I tried to attack and stop attacking at the same time. I ended up landing painfully on my arm, with a burn on my face when the light exploded in my hands. A slowly, the hatred was melting away. Weird.

I walk down the abandoned town and find two people fighting. "None of my business.." I mumbled.

OWEN

I saw a shadow at the end of the ally, 'hope he comes to help' i think then i see her falling to the ground I walk to her cautionly and sat down on the ground "are you alright?" I ask and put my hand on her burned face "god you need treatment, I have to take you to your people, come on" I try to hold her arm around my neck.

"i've never seen that man....." I start to walk over to them.

Lin

I pushed him away, "No..." I mumbled, and then tried to stand, but then collapsed on the floor again. Why do I always lose control like that? I wish I didn't. Then I could be like the masters, back at Base, who are good at everything.

OWEN

I knew why she didn't want help so i said "ok, you can get up and walk on your own, I'll just fallow you in case you pass out or something" I say and see that the figure was closing on us I never saw him before and he was a human, he might hurt her "who are you?" I shouted waiting for his anwere my hand on my knife.

Kuroshima
"Not important.... Don't worry.... You don't have to use your knife.... I don't hunt them..." I looked over at Lin. "You should let him help you..... Your in no shape to move..."

Lin

"No... I swear, I'm... fine." I pulled myself up, and this time managed a few steps, before completely collapsing. and this time, I couldn't get up.

OWEN

"hey" I said and run to her taking her arm ''I am sorry, this is all my fault" I look over at the man and say "can you help me please?" my arm was soaring I wasn't able to hold her alone.

"Hmmm.... Fine... I'll help..." I wlak over and take her other arm.

Lin

I allowed myself to be pulled up. I didn't think I trusted these guys, but at least they didn't kill me on site. If I tried to walk, I would have collapsed again, and that would be bad. Other fanatics would come, and who knows what they would do?

OWEN

"don't be afraid now, we wont hurt you" I say and start to walk her slowly to the huge abandond building, it was scary sight.

(Somethings not right...) I thought to myself. "Your lucky.... there were no fanatics around."

Lin

I let them wlak me to the building. it was The Base. I couldn't let them see it. I pulled away from them. "I'm fine, I think I can get homw from here!" I said, in a fake happy voice. Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. I turned, and saw a large group of fanatics. "You won't be needing to go home, missy. Your fine right here." I gulped. Dammit, fear. My powers are crap when I'm scared. And I haven't recuperated properly form my last haywire blasting session, so I'm basically screwed.

OCC: sorry, but I need to know what do you think of my new sig/ thank you ^^

"damn it" I say and pull my bow dirscting it towards them, I felt her fear, she can't take another attack, "leave us alone" I shout trying not to panic myself.

I staggered back and fell against the wal. i was shaking like nothing on earth. "You Mystica, you want to destroy our world! You bargained with the Devil for your powers! It is our duty to God to destroy you!"

I went out and took a walk and saaw two people fighting.I went over to that direction,sat down on a stone and watched.

History: Most of his details are unknown, but one thing is he's has something precious that was stole by someone evil. Through the storyline, the details about him becomes more clear.
Personality: Immature, Naive, Smart, Curious, Determined, Cheerful, Talkative

Skill Level*: Random, sometimes he can control it fully, sometimes he can't even control it. His skill can be as damaging as it can or can be as worst as it can. His best skill is Total Annihilation which hit for massive damage but that is only when he get full control of his power. Other skill are known later.

"Another day, another hiding spot to find...I'm getting sick of this." I was walking through a forest off the side of a dirt road, travelling to a nearby town that was said to be resident to no radicals.

I breathed hard and fast. Suddenly, I saw one of the fanatics leap at me and I threw myself at the ground. I was stunned for a second, and that was all it took. I found the fanatic, and 20-something guy, straddled on top of me. I screamed, and he slapped me. "No running from me girl. I intend to hae fun with you tonight." He laughed, and put a knife to my throatm and the other hand started trying to crawl up my top. I screamed and cried and shouted, but he ignored me.

OCC: hey, that is close ^^

OWEN

I jumped and inserted my knife in his back he lept with pain I was afraid he would slash her throat so I pulled his arm, he punched my hard, I stambled back and my head hit the wall, stars appeared before my eyes. I pulled him away from her and slamed him against the wall and slashed his throat. he fell dead on the ground then I grabbed her hand and said "come on, it is dengrouse here" .

I ran into the group of fanatics swinging and jabbing my katanas everywhere. "I said get out!!" I yelled.

OOC: I felt like having some action ^^

I let him pull me up, and then I realsied I had regained the use of my legs."Cool!" I said, and ran along the street, but suddenly about half a dozen fanatics appeared, "Dammit." I said.

I neared the entrance to the city. Hiding behind a tree I checked for people and once the coast was clear I snuck in and hid in an alley.

''come here'' I say and pull her through a narrow ally the mestica base was visible from here ''we got to hurry'' we keep running my legs were like ice. then we come out in an open that leads to the base. ''I know you don't want me to come with you, but those fanatic will continue fallowing you, I swear I wont hurt anyone'' I say and look at her reasuringly.

I finished of the last fanatic. "Hmm... Where'd they go?"

OOC: Yup, at The Base there are the Masters, who are very good at controling there powers and they basically care for a teach any Mystica who comes there.

I shook my head. "Sorry. I can't allow you to come into the base. Not unless I get permission from a Master, and even that's strict. I don't even know your name, how can I trust you?"

I make it down one alley and then turn to go down another. I stop suddenly to find two people talking outside one of the bases for mysticas. I stay hidden and listen.

*I help lin into the base but say "no i'm sorry but you can't come in" to the human*

I looked out the window and saw three figures. "Theer they are..."

Lin

"Hey Foxy. We got to get in, but this guy wants to, but we don't have permission from a master. What should we do? I know we should leave him, but I just can't." I sat down on one of the barrels in the alley.

Foxy
"you know we can't come on we need to get you in" as i talk three fanatics turn the corner but i shoot a ball of water at them knocking them down "lin come on let's get inside" i turn to the human "i'm sorry but i can't let you in so you had better run to get away from them" i help lin in and close the door

OWEN

I was left there alone staring at the door, that girl she called foxy she was so beautiful. I shock my head and turned around to see the guy who helpped us eariler drawing close "she is save, and back home where she belongs" I sigh and start to walk to him "time for us to go home too".

Lin

"Woo, that was fun." I looked around the room. "We better tell the masters. The fanatics know where our base is. We'll have to step up defence."

Foxy
"one of the masters is missing. he went out and has not returned yet so i will be replacing him. come we must go to the hall of masters" I lead the way to the hall of masters

Lin

"WTF?" I said, but followed Foxy anyway. What was going on? The masters never eave, unless it's special business.

Foxy
"supposedly there is a new group of mystica killing humans so one of the masters went to sort them out but it has been 7 hours and he should be back by now"

Lin

"Huh. Those dumbass fanatics deserve it. They did kill my parents." I always felt strongly about stuff like this. I dun know why though.

Foxy
"you know we are trying to achieve peace not kill all the humans but if the master who went out is not back in 5 hours i will be a permanent master now we are going to get you cleaned up first" *i lead lin to the showers* "i'll put some clean clothes in your room for you" *i leave lin to have a shower*

Clash

I walked up behind Owen because I was heading in that direction too.Then I "ACHOO!" and accidentally burnt his trousers.

OCC: thanks Clash -_-

OWEN

I felt something hot behind me, and smelled burned cloths, then i patted my trouser and set the fire out, turned around to see one of mysticas, I drew my knife and was ready to fight. this was my prey.

Lin

I took off my clothes and got into the shower. As I washed I thought about what Foxy said. Yeah, we should keep good relations with them, but as long a the king was on the throne we couldn't trust any of them.

OWEN

but suddenly I head a loud blast behind me and as the other two turn around I dash away and slowly make my way around the bilding, in the back I found a vey old door " alittle push should open it" I say and grin then I give it a hard push and it swang open.
"good" I whisper and start to make my way through the dark corridors until I hear a sound of water, I search a little and then I reach a door from which the water sound was coming. and as I peared inside i saw a girl in the shower. I closed it fast my heart beating fast.

Lin

I shook my hair, spraying water everywhere. Then I heard something. A door creaking. I looked round, and saw the guy who helped me. "GET AWAY FROM ME YOU PERVERT!" I shouted at him, while trying to cover up my areas.

OWEN

"sorry" I whispered to her and closed my eyes, "I didn't know it was you" my cheeks blush. I thought it was the pretty girl from eariler. "so you feel ok now?" i asked from behind the door.

Lin

"Yes I'm Fine!" I shouted. I pulled on the clothes Roxy gave me, and said "You can open your eyes now."

OWEN

I opened my eyes slowly and looked at her "I am really sorry for dashing in like this" the other girl wasn't around "erm... where's your friend?" I asked in a casual tone.

Lin

"Somewhere. How should I know?" I said.

OWEN

"sorry, it was really none of my business" I said shifting my legs then my arm gave me a bunch and I caugh it, it was bleeding but didn't hurt as much as before I looked at her and said joking "thanks alot for this"

Foxy
I hear Lin's scream and rush to the showers "How did you get in here human?" I bring my fists up ready for a fight "On second thoughts I don't care prepare to leave"

OWEN

i turned around to see the pretty girl from eariler I feel so confused and stand still unable to move.
"I am sorry" I said slowly. and then my head start to spin.

Foxy
I produce a jet of water from my hands and shoot it at Owen knocking him back "Lin go to your room and stay there until I come and get you"

OCC: thank you -_-

OWEN

the great jst of water hit me hard in my face and I lost ability to breath. I fall back and my head hit a wall for the second time this night. I felt out of breath and my eyes set out of focus. but I managed to say. "I am not here to harm anyone". my body felt weak this girl was really strong.

Foxy
"then leave this place if you don't want to hurt anyone Lin I said go to your room"

OWEN

I tried to get up, my head started to spin once I stood on my feet. I used the wall for support and looked at her "you must be one of the masters here, god you almost opened my head" I walk a little and then my leg give away and I fall down on my knees, "sorry" I murmured weakly.

Lin

"Geesh Foxy, you aren't a master yet." I stalked off to my room, and threw myself on the bed. this was all crap.

Foxy
I grab him by the neck and drag him out of the room "I don't care if you are sorry you shouldn't be here and you now it know get out" I drag him all the way to the door

OCC: hey that is really hard, and I am not a kid. ^^


OWEN

I felt too weak but not that much not to be able to resist her, I grab her hand and flip her virtically then draw her face to mine my breathing burning into her face, god she is pretty (sorry for that). "I like girls who fight sharp, but you can't play games with me pretty face" I say, my eyes staring at her blue ones, "and you are pretty" I said slowly.

Foxy
I punch him in the face to remove my other hand from his grip and drag him to his feet and punch him again then jump up plant my foot on the wall and push off the wall with it. then still in the air with my other foot i kick him round the face making him fall to the floor "I don't need you to tell me I'm pretty human scum" finally I shoot another water jet pushing him out of our base

OOC: sorry i have got to go now so i won't be on until about 6 tommorow

I sighed, and jumped out of my room. I found one of the corridors, completely trashed. "Ooooh." I said "Anyone there?"

OCC: don't worry, I'll keep punching myself until you come back ^^

OWEN

she was really strong,I fall down and breathed hard, my arm and face both bleeding hard. "no,.... I.. wont.. give up" I stand again and grab her leg making her fall down then I flip her hand behind her back and tie her around, "don't mke me hurt you, I don't hurt women" then I drew my knife and put it on her neck, "don't move" I say, and slowly walk her back inside the Base, I close the door, and turn her around to face me, when I looked at her, she looked familiar. "Foxy?!" I said and then some past pictures run through my head, me and a little girl with blue hair and eyes we were playing running one after the other. I took off my knife and put it in her hand, "you can kill me, but I need to talk to your bosses"

I walked back to the ground level and looked around. "Hmmm... Quiet..."

I walked out of The Base and back outside. It felt like a good idea, and it also pissed off Foxy, who I decided to hate for being such a smart-ass.
