Heros of Takra [RP]

Backstory: The story is that Takra and Hedar have started a war due to both of their rapid expansion. The countries around them were swallowed up, and the war's rapid escalation threatens to wipe out both countries. Rumors have it that the Hedarians are developing a magic-focusing tower that could wipe any city off the map. In response to this, the Takran government has launched a blitz assault on Hedar in an attempt to take them out before their project is complete.

Your character in this RP is a hero in the nation of Takra. Try to be as creative as possible.

Name: Marcus Arda
Age: 23
Fighting Style: The Power of Music
Weapon: Acoustic Guitar
Biography: Marcus is a young man who discovered that he had a special power at age 15, when he created his own band. He can use music to fight and defend against enemies. He is relaxed and carefree, but dedicated to his country.
Appearance: He is 6'3" and thin, with long brown hair.

Name: Heero Yuy
Age: 18
Fighting Style: Swordsmanship
Weapon: Katana; on right hip
Biography: Growing up in a church, he learned of God and His Word. He uses it to live his life the way He wants it to be. He is a well known priest as well as a great swordsman. Cheery and friendly at most times, he loathes the rich and powerful who do not help the poor and weak. When it comes to battles and other work of the sort, he is one of the most serious people you'll know. He tends to hold back his true power unless if his opponent is worth it.
Appearance: Short jet black hair, red eyes, average sized muscles, white longsleeve buttoned shirt (open), white undershirt, white pants, necklace with a silver bar and an engraved red cross, 6'1"

Heero Yuy- Approved. Your character is a soldier on the Hedarian front, and a battle has just broken out against the Hedarian infantry.

Marcus- Seeing the fighting near the front lines, Marcus pulls out his guitar and begins to play a fast tune similar to a flamenco. As he does this, the enemies he targets are hit by a series of fast slashes, as if by an invisible dagger.

Heero Yuy

I come out of my tent, sword on my side, and I stare off ahead to see the battle. A grin crosses my face. "In the name of God, I shall strike down the guilty and liberate the innocent. Time to go purify this land. Watch over me God and I shall serve Thee. Amen." I cross my chest and then start off walking then I gradually speed up into a job...then a run...and into a sprint. I unsheath my sword and rush into the battlefield.

Name: Kuroshima Yukosa
Age: 19
Fighting Style: Archery
Weapon: oak Long bow
Biography: He grew up only seeing his father only once a month because he was so worried about war and battles. His mother left him alone all the time, so he hasn't made any friends since he was 3. His mother died when he turned 13 and his father never came back from war. So as a result he spent all his time using his father's long bow and staying by himself.
Appearance: Standing "6'8 250 lbs. with shaggy blue hair and light silver eyes.

Heero Yuy- As you run, you meet an enemy soldier with a longsword.

Kuroshima- Approved. You are near the back rows of the battle, and you can barely see the enemy's front lines.

Marcus- Seeing an enemy closing in on him, he suddenly plays a loud chord, and an explosion throws the soldier back as he bursts into flames.

Kuroshima
I stand on my tip-toes. "I can't see what's happening!!"

Kuroshima- You see the front row is mainly composed of spearmen, with a few swordsmen filling the ranks. The middle rows are purely swordsmen, and the back row is their archers.

OOC: I'm with other Archers in back row right?

Kuroshima
"hmmmm... Something to shoot at finally" I thought to myself.

Kuroshima- OOC: yes.

Marcus- After taking out the enemy close to him, Marcus plays a slower piece, laden with accents. Every few beats, a huge blast rocks the ground, sending enemy troops flying.

OOC: ok!


Kuroshima
"Ok!! Aim at the front row!!!" I yell at other arhers. I load my arrow and take aim. "Ready!!! Set.... FIRE!!!!!!!" I yell as I launch my arrow at front row of enemies.

Kuroshima- The first ranks were considerably thinned due to the accuracy of your volley.

Marcus- Seeing a huge group of enemies fall in front of him, Marcus resumes his quicker rhythm.

Kuroshima
"Nice shooting!! Right Flank take back row! Left flank take middle row! Middle flank takes front row! Fire at will!!!!" I yelled. I loaded an arrow, aimed and fired into the front row.

Kuroshima- You see more of the arrows miss than last time, since the soldiers expected the arrows, but the volley was still quite effective.

Marcus- Feeling somewhat low on energy, Marcus stops playing and charges the enemy's front line, using his guitar as a spear.

Kuroshima
"Keep Firing but don't aim at the same spot!! I'll be back!!" I pushed my way through the middle row till I reached the front row.

Kuroshima- As you get to the front lines, you see a group of swordsmen walking towards you.

Marcus- Seeing a swordsman in front of him, Marcus thrust forward with his guitar, skewering his chest.

Kuroshima
I pull out a couple arrrows and jump up using the arrows as daggers slashing around.

Kuroshima- You cut down two of them, but the other two slash downward at you.

Marcus- Marcus continues into the enemy ranks, dodging their attacks.

Kuroshima
I roll backwards but get my shin cut open by one of the swords. "Ahhh!!!!" I throw one of my arrows at one swordsmen.

Kuroshima- The arrow pierces his neck, barely killing him as it was not made to be thrown. The other swordsman slashes across at your chest.

Marcus- Seeing another enemy attacking him, Marcus sidesteps the slash, then thrusts the tip of the spear into his neck. As he does this, he sees the shadow of a huge volley of arrows.

Just a friendly reminder, you will need a storyline for this. Dropping people into a war scene is all well and good, but it usually also helps to have the information available in the sign-up sheet.

I crawl back the blade just misses my chest. "Oh god I'm going to die..." I thought to myself.

"You think you can take me!" I straighten my sword horizontally and prepare for the enemy to attack.

Kuroshima- The swordsman thrusts straight down at your chest to finish you off.

Marcus- Finally breaking through the enemy ranks, Marcus attacks the enemy archers with his guitar, spearing one through the chest.

Heero- He thrusts forward, then falls as an arrow pierces his chest.

Kuroshima
"Oh god..... I'm going to die...." I thought to myself but then I saw that there was an arrow still in my hand and I rammed the arrow it the soldiers chest.

Please add that to the opening post so that those who wish to join at least have an idea of what's going on.

OOC: Thanks for the warning.

Kuroshima- The sudden motion throws off your enemy's aim and your arrow gets through and kills him, but his thrust grazes your side, cutting it open.

Marcus- Seeing an archer preparing to shoot him, Marcus plays a fast, hard note on his guitar, and the archer appears as if he was shot. Marcus is then hit in the back by an arrow from another enemy archer, and cries out in pain.

Kuroshima
"Owww!!! I need to go see the medic...." I said and coughed up blood when I was done.

Kuroshima- The battle appears to be about over, and the enemy ranks are very thin, so no one notices you.

Marcus= Summoning the last of his strength, Marcus plays a prolonged, loud chord, creating an explosion that wipes out most of the archers around him, then passes out.

Kuroshima
I stagger up and limp back to camp looking for the medic.

Kuroshima- Seeing the enemies routing, some of the soldiers persue them, but enough stay behind to carry you into the medical tent.

Marcus- Marcus wakes up in the medical tent, next to a few other men from the battle.

Kuroshima
The soldiers lay me on a medic bed. "thank you..." I said with trouble. i look beside me to see other soldiers very badly wounded.

Heero Yuy

I stare down at the enemies fallen body expresslessly, and then thurst my sword into his chest just to make sure. "Well, he went down quick...time for another." I casually walk deeper into the battle zone.

Appearance: He is about 6'4" and has a moderate build, white hair, jet black eyes with blood red pupils, black trenchcoat black pants and boots

Kuroshima- The medic walks over to you and injects something into your side. Moments later, you fall asleep.

Heero Yuy- You see a huge amount of the enemies falling around the enemy army due to a volley of arrows fired from your back row.

Marcus- Marcus tries to get up, but the medic stops him and tells him he needs rest.

Griffin- Approved, but I'll need a history before I can put you in.

Heero Yuy

I smile at this feat. "Looks like the archers have been practicing. But I'm not going to let them have all the glory." I start to rush into the battle once again.

Name: Amelia Jacobson
Age: 18
Fighting style: summoner
Weapon: Short sword
Background: coming from a different continent in search of my sister I get caught up in the fight because of people wanting my summoning power on their side. Finding out my sister is dead I eventually became a mercenary and joined Takars side hoping for revenge for my sister ( who isn't really dead but I don't know that yet)
Appearance: short black skirt, red hair, a white top and blue eyes. About 5'11" and very slim. I wear a necklace with strange runic writing on. I have only deciphered a piece of it

Heero Yuy- You come across a small group of swordsmen in the center ranks.

Amelia- Approved, but your summons will take a lot out of you. You are in the Takran camp, having just arrived after a battle ended.

OOC: I will not be on until the 14th.

"Alright...who wants to go first?" I ask out in the air, not expecting anyone to listen anyways. I sprint towards the swordsmen. "You're no match for me!"

Background: Born with the ability to use Black Magic, Ray have been quite useful to his village. His village lie far from the war of Hedra and Takra, and his village is very poor but at least peace is there. One day, the village elder ask Ray to travel in hope of getting something that will build the modern of the village. Ray thinks that the place near the war of Hedra and Takra are perfect so he went there. Currently, he is on his way to the place.
Appearance: Black Hair, Black Eyes, Average Size, Black Mage Cloth (Blue Robe, Wizard Hat and Wizard Shoes).

Ray- Approved. You are in the camp after a battle just occured.

Dammit i always get here at the wrong time the battles over well no time to test out my new sword but i am pretty tired after all that travelling so maybe i'll take a nap

I move to the left and attempt to bring my blade down on his back.

Amelia
I see a small skirmish and rush over "DIE!!!" I yell as I draw my sword killing the first person I see "Heero, is that you" bringing my sword down again another enemy falls

I awake and my heartbeat was very fast. "Huh? where am I?...." I look around. "Oh.... a tent.... interesting..."

history:after no longer being able tyo stand his abusive parents, he fled to the streets which was a very hard life, he had to lie kill and steal to survive, somewhere along the way he became obsessed with the next fight and kill, so now he works as a mercenary

I try to get out of the bed but fall over onto the floor. "Mmmmm....."

Amelia
I walk into the medic's tent to see if any one needs help. I see Kuroshima on the floor and rush to help him up "hey you ok?"

Kuroshima
I look up at the girl. "Fine...." I stagger up.

Heero Yuy

I look around. "Huh? Did someone call my name?" I ask out loud as I continue with my previous action.

Ray

"What should I do? Maybe I should just wait here" *I try to see the battle* "Wow, there's some good skill, maybe I should fight with them.........maybe not" *Try to go out*

Amelia
" whats your name" i ask to the person on the floor on the floor

Kuroshima
"Kuroshima... and yours?"

Amelia
"I'm Amelia let me help you back into bed"

Kuroshima
"I don't need help Amelia... I'm fine." I lifted myslef off the floor and stood.

Amelia
"if your sure listen I need to get back out and kill something so I'm gonna go now bye i'm sure i'll see you around" walks out of tent

Kuroshima
"Whatever..." I walkd out of the medical tent and back to my own tent.

OOC: I'm back.

Kuroshima, Amelia, Heero Yuy, Marcus- A man walks out of the commanders tent and yells, "We're moving out!"

Heero Yuy

I turn towards the officer. "Yes sir!" I salute him and then let down my hand.

Ray

"We're moving out, what's this? Who say that?" *Turn around* "It must be from otherside...but who?" *Try to search*

Kuroshima
I looked at the captain. "My time in this army is done.. Unless you give me more money that is.." I grinned.

Kuroshima- The captain sighs, then hands you a bag of coins. You know by the weight that it must be at least 100 coins of silver.

Ray- You see the enemy captain leading his troops away. Your leader then calls you back in to march.

Heero- You see the captain hand a bag to one of the archers.

Marcus- Marcus stows his guitar and gets prepared to march.

Heero Yuy

"Hmm, I wonder what that could be..." I ponder it a bit.

Kuroshima
"Thank you." I tied the bag to my belt.

Ray

"What's that troop doing anyway..." *Go back into the march* "Hmm......Wonder if I'll get to know them."

Amelia
"Okay I'm ready let's go" Waits for commander to give order to march

Heero, Kuroshima, Amelia, Marcus- The commander marches out with the first ranks behind him.

Ray- Your commander takes a different path of the other army, and turns off onto a rocky and untraveled road.

Ray

"Why did the commander choose a different way?" *Try to look around* "What am I doing in this place anyway, I was supposed to search for a modern life...."

Kuroshima
I followed behind the front ranks. 'Boring desolate place...." I mumbled.

I follow behind, checking around for any unwlecomed enemies. "Nothing much going on now..."

Kuroshima
I searched around carefully. "Time to go..." I mumbled then snuck to the back and hide behind a large rock.
