[RP]Shadows VS Angels

Plot

The year 2020. The planet Earth. World Peace has been established, and the future never looked brighter. But, the beautiful place Earth has become has collapsed. Strange creatures, known only as Shadows, appeared at 6 o'clock, on the 6th day of the 6th month. And for the last month, they have literally been waging war against earth. Darkness has covered the world. And, there is nothing the people of Earth can do to defeat them. Nothing. Some people say a saviour will come the defeat these monsters. And- they are right. Inside every human being there is an inner angel. But, usually, it's stuck in there 'till you die. However, Heaven realised the need for angels on earth, so they created the five Nova Angel Bracelets. They allow the wearer to turn into their angelic form while still alive. But, the shadows know about the bracelets too. And they want to destroy them. Because they are their only threat to control over earth. Now, a real war has begun.

Setting

A suburban area, next to a park with a swimming pool. It is the middle of the night (But since darkness has covered the world, it dun matter.)
The weather is warm.

how does one get a Nova Angel Braclet?

One finds it by accident. Heaven sent angels to deliver them, but they were attacked by shadows, and they dropped all five of the bracelets in the area.
Oh yeah, I need to post what the bracelets look like.
They are wide silver cuffs, with a small pearl embedded into it, with a wing on each side. When one is in angel form, the wings grow about a foot long.

And when in angel form, one has access to one weapon (sword, staff, etc.) and the wings on the bracelet can be used as a crossbow. One just has to summon up some arrows.

Name: Elsie
Age: 13
Normal Appearence: Shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, short, thin build. Wearing a sleeveless light blue T-shirt, black leggings cut off just under the knees, white nikes, no socks.
Angel Appearence*: White sleeveless dress, down to mid thigh length, white shorts, cut off just above the knee, wide pink ribbon round waist, tied in bow at the back. White ankle boots with pink laces, white elbow length fingerless gloves.
Personality: Recklessly brave, doesn't give up, has an inferiority complex when it comes to people being better than her at stuff.
History: Lived with her parents until there house was destroyed by shadow demons a week ago. Been living with her friend since then. Found the bracelet in the park swimming pool a day ago.
Angel Powers*: manipluating heavenly energy into forcefields and stuff, summoning up fire, and can shoot ropes out of her blade.
Weapon: 2-foot long sword, quite thin, has a small pink jewel embedded in the end, what shoots out the ropes.

Demon Apperance: Elbow length loose crimson hair, yellow cat eyes, honey coloured skin, white fangs on upper jaw, long sharp red talons. Wears a tight black top with the top loosely laced up, a loose red skirt split to the knee and leather boots with inch heels.
Personality: Sadistic, prefers to let her victims suffer slowly. Misanthropic and believes that humans are the scum of the earth. Would love to torture an angel to death. Dislikes working with others.
History: Was a professional dominatrix in her past life, still enjoys making people suffer.
Demon powers: Can control fire and can inflict psychic pain on others.
Weapon: A pair of foot long daggers with a large ruby in each hilt.

OOC; Yes, Shadows have powers too. And for future reference, both shadows and angels have wings, angels white and feathery, shadows black and feathery. easy!

Shadow Appearance: Large Moogle but have a black wings but usually he disguise as a human to trick people and get his hand on Angel. *See my Avatar, Mog's wing is pink change it to black, my character look like Mog but a real big and large!*
Personality: Immature, Naive, Smart, Curious, Very less confident, Determined, Kind to Shadow but Evil to Angel.
History: Ray was just a normal orphan Behemoth until one day, he heard of human. Humans killed his parents and from that day, he swears a revenge. He had gone into many cruel training just to get powerful. He joined the war to kill human and was asked by Shadow to destroy Angel Bracelet. The Shadow give him special ability that allow him to become human. Currently, he is still looking for the Angel Bracelet in human form while locating the Angels.
Shadow Powers: Can use Black Magic and Summoning Arte.
Weapon: Chain Whip

Name:Clash Magnus van Fables IV

Age:17

Appearance:Brown catalyst hair(it means with a huge pigtail),black eyes,slightly tanned skin,a shirt with a skull that has a dragon protruding out of it,black jeans,black leather shoes.

Demon Appearance:Imagine a FF8 bahamut that is 7 feet tall,black all over,same shirt(note that it has two holes at the back for wing sprouting,so that it won't rip the shirt apart),same trousers,same shoes(also has holes at the front for toenail sprouting) and blood red eyes that can intimidate anybody(and take note of the tail tail too,but mostly,it's a dragon type hulk I am).

Personality:A whatever kind of person.Hates being ordered around.Mentally twisted(just like yours truly),he prefers to let his victims die slowly,for example tearing their body parts off part by part,roast them with his fire abilities and eat them(his comment on human flesh,"hmm...taste like fish").Likes hearing the screams of a female,especially if it's a teenager.He rapes and tortures(BDSM) EVERY teenage girl in sight and then kills and eat them(Why?"female flesh is more soft than male,male flesh is more like beef than like fish").Then again,his rape area includes both angels AND shadows,so it means ANY girl can be his victim.Never liked working in a team,he prefers to be a lone wolf.

History:No records are stored for this guy.He is just too damn mysterious.SPOILER:He's once a shadow army general.Likes people to suffer and scream until their last syllable of recorded time(damn,Macbeth).

Demon powers:Black flames that won't extinguish until he stops it PERSONALLY(used in various skills),make people recover their past wounds(aka inflicting pain from the past),summoning shadow dragons,de-angelify(can only be used once a day,turns an angel back to human for 24 hours),Shinisentensho(non-elemental large range exploding attack) and shadow body(making him invulnerable to physical attacks,NOT MAGICAL).

Weapon:Excalibur Shadow,an all-black big sword that is 6 feet long with a thick katana blade with a red power crystal embedded at the end of the handle.

OOC:I think we should make the wings of shadows black and LEATHERY.It suits demons better.

OOC: Ok, we will have them black and leathery. Now we just need 3/4 more angels, and we're set to go.

I walked from my house to the park. Yeah, it was stupid, with all the shadows creeping around, but it's better than waiting for them to come to us. But Actually, how could I fight them? Even the world security patrol can't defeat them, and they have the best weapons.I looked down at my wrist. The bracelet was still there. "Maybe this... bracelet has something to do with this" I said aloud. Yeah, it was jewellery, but this sort of thing happened all the time in anime, so why not real life?

I paced silently along the darkened streets. Everyone was hiding away, they were afraid. It was a pity, I want some sport, maybe a little child, I'd just love to skin it alive, or maybe just cut it to pieces, one limb at a time. And the rumours of 'angels', oh please, some people just never learn that telling me information will never save their lives, but then they're dead so they can't learn. Oh well, a hunt it is then, 3 days without torturing someone slowly to death is so boring.
Oh, who's that, I well, they'll probably tell me as I suffocate them slowly?, or should I have some fun, nah its a small girl, no fun at all, but these macho male types are wonderful. I might as well kill the girl anyway, I have a reputation as a sadistic bitch to uphold.

I thought I heard something. I turned, and saw a women. I blinked, then saw she had black leathery wings. Just like one of those shadows. I pointed at her, and said "Your a Shadow!" I was shaking with fear. gte a hold of yourself dammit! I looked around, and picked up a large stick. "Dont come near me. Or I'll kill you."

A pearl? This bracelet was made for me! :love: My birthstone is pearl!

Normal Appearence: Jet black hair (short), light blue eyes, average sized muscles, black undershirt, white cloak with hood, Katana on right hip, wide silver cuff with a pearl embedded into it.
Angel Appearence*: Silvery white hair (long), blood red eyes, average sized muscles, white undershirt, white long sleeve buttoned shirt (open), white cloak with hood, Nodachi on back, the Nova Angel bracelet, white wings
Personality: Friendly and cheery at most times, he love sot help others. He loathes the rich and powerful who do not help the poor and weak.
History: Born and raised in a chrisitian family, he learned of God and His Word. AT the age of 16 he was ordained a priest and now travel to preach and spread the Word of God. A few months ago, during a storm, he took shelter in a cave to find that a bracelet had been in there. The design and coloring astounded him. It seemed too eautiful to be left there on accident. He decided to take for himself.
Angel Powers*: Uses heavenly light and compresses it into beams that deal deadly damage.
Weapon: Swords

The girl I was following appeared to be attempting to threaten me with a stick. Pitiful mortals, when will they see that resistance is useless, they're going to die anyway so their deaths should at least benefit someone else, namely me. Should I skin her, stab her through the heart, behead her or just leave her to die of blood loss due to dozen of small stab wounds. Make the last one bite wounds, I haven't tasted fresh human blood for so long now. Time to feed. I charged towards her, expecting only the usual feeble resistance.

I dropped the stick, and covered my eyes. I'm such an idiot. I held onto the bracelet, and prayed for a miracle. Suddenly, the pearl in the bracelet glowed, and I uncovered my eyes, and looked at the bracelet. The wings wear now about 6 inches long, and the bracelet was now glowing warm. Then, the power flowed down my skin. It felt like my arm was being immersed in warm water, but it felt.. soft. I had no idea how water could be soft, but it could. now the power was covering my whole body. Suddenly I had a strange tingly feeling in between my shoulder blades, like someone stuck an ice cube there. And then.. I felt something growing out of my back. Then, my vision was obscured by large, feathery wings. They blanketed my whole body, then they curved back. I looked down at myself. I was wearing I weird white dress! I looked down on the ground and out of the ground a silver sword was sticking out. I drew it out, and it was suprisingly light. I swished it around, and then looked at the shadow monster. "Stop where you are! I am Elsa, the Nova Angel, and I will defeat you!" i striked a dramatic pose, and grineed inwardly. This was all my anime fantasies coming to life!

Oh <img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">! This wasn't.... supposed..... to.....happen. Okay 2 choices, take on this made angel thing who is hell bent on being a heroine and kicking the crap out of me or stalking off and finding some easier prey. I know some guys who love their prey to put up a fight but I don't. I prefer the thrill of the hunt and nothing less then a scared helpless victim will do. Fights just make the whole affair too tiring and not worth the effort. I stalk off silently, there must be some easier targets around here somewhere since she's a 'distraction' they'll think they're safe. How wrong they're going to be.

It was another glorious day outside as I was travelling to a far off village. The sun was shining and and breeze was blowing as I made my way. I take in a deep breath and sigh happily. "Bless God for this fine day! Can't wait to do my sermon tomorrow in the village." I was anxious to get there and meet all the people who reside in it. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Very well then, I shall teach that man a lesson" I go to the next block "Pitiful mortal...human!............" I was shocked to see Clash's there. I looked as the female shadow stalking off. "OWNED!" I shouted, pointing at her. I grinned, and looked around. Where are all the other demons? I need to beat them, to prove I'm not a wimp. I flapped my wings, and flew around the park. Hopefully I'd find one while airborne.

Ruby

How immature, an angel slagging me off cos I'm sensible and not doing Sailor Moon impersanations. Yes, I watch Sailor Moon, I get nostalgic okay, hell isn't so uncivilised that we don't have TV. Well off to the countryside then, if that angel's around it could be trouble.

Clash

"Hey Ray,I came here to rape some human females for some new sensation,and I got something to do.Want some human female flesh?It's freshly barbequed by yours truly,"I asked.

Elsie

I flew over the houses, and saw two shadows in a street. "Woo!" I said, and drew my sword. I flew down at them, and shouted "Hey, fang-face! How do you like to be cooked?!"

Ray

"No, thanks, I already eat some of them" A girl come. "How about this girl becomes our dinner for tonight" I swing my chain whip and attack the girl.

Elsie

I blocked the chain with my sword, and shouted "Hey, I'm an Angel, dude. If you had half a brain, you'd be running by now!" And then I struck at him with my sword.

Ray

I blocked her attack "Such good girl.....This will make you perfect meal..." I link Fire magic to my chain whip and attack the girl.

Elsie

I tried to dodge the attack, and I did.. mostly. I got hit on my left arm, and fell to the ground. "Dammit!" I cursed. I now had a burn on my arm, and it hurt like hell. I didn't stand up either, I just lay there, massaging my arm.

Ray

I see the girl massaging her arm. "Amateur...Clash, that's your choice, but don't kill her, I still want to have fun battling her again" I stand there waiting for Clash to respond.

Elsie

I blinked as I listened to the shadow talking. "I don't want to be eaten.." I whispered, and my eyes started filling with tears. Dammit girl, don't giev up now! I put my hands in front of my face, palms facing the shadow and said "I need a miracle. Now." Then a small globe of light formed in my hands. I stared at it for a second, and then grinned. "Ownage time."

Ray

I was shocked to see the girl. "That light, Clash, our objectives!" I link Ice magic to my chain whip and attack the girl "Nice try, little girl but that's not enough yet!" I try to attack her mentally but I can feel a strong power within her.

Elsie

I rolled out of the way of the chain, and pulled myself up and flew upwards. I formed the light orb again, and lanched it at both of the shadows.

Clash

"Cool.I think I might just de-angelify her if you ever go desperate.Then we take the bracelet and cook her for dinner,"I said.

Ray

"Urghh....damn little girl!" I swin my chain a bit then I concentrate....after awhile I release a blue shot "Take this little girl; Tetra Blower, hit rate.....255%"

Elsie

I got hit directly in the chest and was knocked onto the road. I banged my back on the ground, and then my head followed. Spots jumped in front of my eyes, and I couldn't move. or talk. I just lay there, really dizzy.

Ray

"Hmmph.....I can kill you right now but I leave it to Clash as he is my ex-general. Clash, your feast." I turn around and head to the bench near the street and sit down.

OOC:You'd better hope that Heero's here to save you,Yuffie.I'll allow room for that to happen anyway because it would look like me and Vivi are god-modding for beating a girl 2-on-1.

Clash

"De-angelify,"I said casually.

The girl's wings vanished."This power only works once a day and can turn an angel back to human for 24 hours but I don't let angels in front of me get away that easily,especially if it's a girl,"I said.I began to drool.

"Heh heh heh..."I laughed.Slowly,I edged towards her......

I see Clash go to the girl "Don't kill her, I wanna have some fun battling her" I say. I swing my chain and pack it, I insert my packed chain whip in my pocket. "Remember to steal the bracelet"

"Oh yeah.The bracelet.I'll take that,"I said as I took the bracelet away."This bracelet dosen't suit you.Kepp it well ray,"I said and threw thew bracelet at him.

I try to take the bracelet then a light pull the bracelet "What!!? This light...." I run after the light. "This light is probably......"

"Hey... Give that back.." I groaned. I dragged myself up, and wobbled on my feet. I realised I was back in my human self. I saw the bracelet glow, and smiled. I put out my arm, and said "Come back to your owner. I need you."

"The bracelet...damn!" I cast a normal thunder magic to the girl. "Clash, attack her while I cast magic to her" I cast another thunder magic.

OOC; She really is my sis. She'll be on in a minute

I was knocked back again my the lightning. "OWOWOW" I said. Now I had multiple burns. But I needed to get the bracelet back. I staggered forward, and threw out my arm. "Come back dammit! They can't have you!"

OOC: Yuffie is my sis and she's a computer hog.

Ruby

Hmm, sounds like that bratty kid is getting what's coming to her. Should I join in, or let her suffer. I think I'll wait, the current fight is almost over and if any would be rescuers show up; they'll make a wonderful main course. The sound of suffering is such a sweet aperitif. Better make sure my daggers are sharp, blunt weapons just make everything messy. Ah hell, I'll throw a fireball her way, to see just how injured she is.

Clash

"Holy damn,now that's unexpected.The bracelet knows it's owner.Huh?Freakin' hell,it's time time to finish you offf!don't have time ta do you anymore!BYE BYE!"I said and launched my sword at her.

Elsie

I looked around me. one side, a fireball, one side, a big sword wielding guy, and last side- my bracelet. Heck, it was a crazy thing to do, but I did it. I leapt towards my bracelet and grabbed it, and then landed painfully on my stomach. I slipped it on, stroked the pearl, and once again turned to angel form.

OOC: (Yuffie = Computer Hog....hmm....) About 10 minutes left...

Ray

"That's much better" I cast another Thunder Magic. "How about that, little girl!" I cast another Thunder Magic, just before I cast, a fireball attacked the girl. "Who's there!?"

Elsie

I jumped out of the way, and flew into the air. Phew, got em this time. I formed the orb of light in my hands, but this time it was about fife foot each way, I Raised it over my head and threw it down on the ground, at the shadows.

OOC: 5 minutes left.....

Ray

"Clash, run away!" I run far from the battlefield. " We manage to avoid that but I can't believe how an angel can be very reckless, look at the destruction. But like I care anyway." I go back to the battlefield.

Elsie

I grinned and formed the orb of light into my hands again. But this time I melded it into an arrow, and using the wings on the bracelet, shot it straight at one of the shadows (Ray).

Ruby

Here I am minding my own business and there's a giant explosion. What a turn up for the books. Okay, fighting this angel chick is a stupid idea but if I don't fight with the others then I get blown to smithereens. Well since she's aiming at someone else, here's my chance. Time to use these wings and rush her with my daggers.

Clash

"Shadow Firewall,"I said casually.The arrow hit the wall and vanished.

"You're still too young to use those powers.And I do think it's by accident that you know that you can change back to angel form after taking off the bracelet and putting it on again.Anyways,this time I'll burn to you to nothingness,"I said.

I covered my sword,Excalibur Shadow in my shadow flames.I prepared to strike......

Ray

"I'm 14 if you want to know, Clash" I pops in. "Thanks for the help, Clash." I say.

"Well, little girl, you still want to fight?" I cast multiple Wind-elemental spell at her as she is floating, wind does better damage.

OOC: Me and starseeker are gonna be out for 2 hours, so pretend we're somewhere else.

Elsie

I was blown around by the wind, but manged to get control and land back on the ground. I Blasted out an orb of light, and then went and hid down an alley. I needed a new strategy.

OOC: OK!

Ray

"Hmmph....coward.....I need to go, Clash. See ya later!" I say to Clash and run to the next block and begin acting like a normal human.

Clash

Seeing as that chick got blown away,I changed back to human form and walked down the alley.

OOC: Back

Elsie

I looked as one of the shadows passed my alley. This was time for the plan. I drew out my sword, and came to the end the alley. I slashd my sword forward, and a pink thread of light whipped out. I guided it towards the shadow, and hoped it would hit.

*I walk through another city* "Hope, I get special treatment here...."

Clash

Noticing something strange,I took precaution and spread my wings.I flew to the roof of a nearby house and sat there for a while.

OOC: Okies, this thread goes to sleep for today. If anyone wants to wake it, do it before 10pm, cos that's when i have to sleep in the real world

I heard the shadow coming down my alley. I got out my sword and got ready to shoot the ropes at them. Then, I'd blast them, when they can't escape.

Ruby

The girl looked threatened. Had I been seen? I'd better hide just in case. I don't want my prey to bolt.

Elsie

I breathed in and out. "Don't run away. I've got to get you. I have to." I lifted my sword again, watching, waiting.

Ray

*Return back to the city* "That city is boring!" *Walk around until I see that angel again* "I don't want a fight" Run around.

Elsie

The shadow came towards me and I immediatly threw my sword forward, and thin pink ropes exploded form the end and snaked their way towards the shadow.

OOC: G2G. :( I try to make my character to be like Kefka in my next post.

Ray

"I don't want a fight!" I open my black and leathery wings and fly toward anoter city. "That way......I kill all the humans in there!"

OOC; Hey, it's OK.

"Don't run away you coward!" I shouted, but the shadow was probably too far away to here me. I sunk down on my bum. "I should be glad, but.. I want action!"

I saw a female past by.My stomach growled."Dinner time,"I said to myslef.

*Enter a new city* "this look like a good city with excellent prey" I go to the nearest human and eat him. "Bloodless, I want someone yummy!"
